Because I’ve been sitting here all day unable to think of conflicting themes that haven’t been used yet I’m being unoriginal and using life/death for this. Also coming up with one of these ordeals is hard but here’s my rough idea of how it could work.

Every NEW MOON a strange website will open up if you meet specific requirements.

1. You must be alone. 2. Your cellphone must be plugged into your laptop and unlocked. 3. No other internet browsers can be open prior to midnight. 4. Once midnight strikes and you open up the browser of your choice you will be taken to the website and your phone will match.

For the next two days this website will always open up provided that you did the above requirements. It’s a black screen with a single text box and then two buttons underneath. It would look something like this.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN?

Enter someone’s name here.....

>DAMNATION >SALVATION

After you make your selection you will not be able to interact with the page any longer. However, you will see a bar that shows what the majority of users chose.

On the third day the screen changes to something like this.

VOTING IS NOW LOCKED TALLYING VOTES . . .

VERDICT

Afterwards a random name will be picked and shown on the screen with the decision that the users made. Afterwards a countdown begins with the words “FINAL PUNISHMENT/ FINAL REWARD” Each night logged into the site will show the chosen person’s life either improving or worsting. For those sentenced to damnation they go missing the night of the revelation.The final event will always happen on the FULL MOON. If salvation is chosen then the person will experience some life changing event for the better. However, if damnation is chosen then they will be brutally executed and found the next day.

At the start of this site the votes were overwhelmingly beneficial. However, as the rumor of the site spread and people started to get envious over those who get chosen the scale begins to tip the other way...

After the Final Punishment/Reward the site disappears again until the next New Moon arises.

Leave before you get hurt and I have a second job to deal with.” Chikako spoke coldly, only barely turning her head in Sumiye’s direction, her expression stern and stoic. Before the other girl could reply, however, a crashing noise from a nearby alleyway put Chikako on edge, turning her attention in that direction as she drew her swords. “Tch, figures. Hurry up and get lost, already!”

“Your responsibility or not, I’m not going to leave you alone when your back is clearly exposed.”

She knew from her mother’s stories just how hard it is to be watching your front and back at the same time. Hearing the noise, Sumiye pulled her wakizashi out in an instance and took a defensive stance without missing a beat. She knew that she should be finding Usagi right now, however, she knew that her sister could take care of herself. Usagi was the stealthier one after all.

“You can drop the cold shoulder routine already. I’m not going anywhere until I know that you aren’t going to get ambushed.”

“You should turn around and go back the way you came.” Chikako spoke without looking towards the girl that had stumbled across her as she sheathed her swords, just now finished dealing with a Shadow. There was no corpse, of course, considering the nature of the creature she’d just felled, but she knew the sheer fact that she had weapons and had them drawn until just now was a strange sight for a normal person, unaware of the girl’s own power… “It’s dangerous here.”

Sumiye replied calmly as she didn’t seemed phased by the situation. She had her wakizashi hidden underneath her clothing. A small habit she picked up from her mother. She wore her father’s TV World glasses out of sheer habit. Whenever she was anxious or nervous about something she would put them on as a reminder that he’s always watching over her.

“I’m not as helpless as I may look.”

With Benzaiten’s crown placed over head, Satomi keeps her eyes closed as she scans the area. Her search starts in the immediate vicinity before rapidly expanding outward. A few things are apparent from the start. This place is one unlike any she has ever been in. The only bit of good news she discovers is that she’s not alone. While they might not be a teammate, she could honestly use the help. In the corner of Sumiye’s vision, an image of Satomi should appear as if on a grainy screen.

“Am I coming in clear right now? You’re the first person that I’ve seen around here so far.”

“Fairly clearly.”

This was a different feeling then when Rise or Minoru was talking to her causing her to pause. She saw something new out of the corner of her vision, that was definitely different. She didn’t recognize the girl that she was looking at but she clearly had to be a navigator of sorts. Maybe this stranger could give some insight to where they were exactly.

“I could say the same about you in an indirect way. Do you have any idea where we are?”

“Alright this isn’t the TV World or the Midnight Sever so where am I?”

Sumiye mumbled to herself as she pulled out her phone and saw that it was completely dead. She couldn’t even get the screen to boot up which had her on edge. In the Midnight Server her phone would always work and showed her key stats like her stamina levels. She pulled out Yosuke’s TV World glasses and slipped them on. It was a small gesture but one that she used to remind herself that her parents were watching over her even in here. She held her sword out as she crept along quietly looking for any signs of movement.

“So this is what mom felt like during Inaba only with a lot less fog.”

I’ve got Sumiye’s pages into a decent condition so I think this would be a good time for a break. I’ll probably do Usagi’s tomorrow.

Both Sumiye and Usagi would have their Persona before they get involved with any Shadow related events due to their desires to Awaken early. As a result they can open the door to the TV World but nowhere else.
