hana song + magic = oh god. it wasn’t exactly a match some would say was made in heaven. some would quite frankly describe it as dangerous. so now as she was trying to get a twig ( yes, a mere bit of tree ) to levitate in the air, she looked like she was about to bust a blood vessel any second. eyes narrowed as she stared at the branch with so much intensity that the veins in her temples were beginning to show. ‘ come on… ’ she muttered through gritted teeth before sighing as she placed her hands on the table in front of her as though that was going to miraculously give her more power.

yet to no avail, she took a small break feeling her eyes getting a little strained. she shook herself off and tried to focus on what her teacher had told her prior ( even though she was constantly getting into trouble for being the shittest witch on the planet ) where was harry potter when you needed him? granted he was a wizard but still. deciding to try again, she focused all of her attention and spiritual energy back on the twig. ‘ please fly… i need you to just fly. ’

  with a yawn, minjoon steps into the next room, only to be brought to an abrupt halt at the sight he’s presented with. hana, looming over a twig, staring down at it with such intensity that one would think it insulted her family. for a long moment, he just stands there in the doorway, watching her in silence. while it’s good that she wants to learn and improve... it’s VERY clear that she’s new to magic.

     “ okay, you need a break. i brought some tea, ”  he announces, resuming his path to join her at the table, two cups of hot tea set down upon it. sliding one over to hana, he drops to sit opposite her, gaze moving from the beverages, to the girl, and finally to her twig.

     “ you’re trying too hard. ”  a strange statement, maybe, although perhaps not a surprising one to hear coming from someone like him. lazy and apathetic as he might be though, minjoon DOES know what he’s talking about.  “ you looked like you were going to strain a muscle. you didn’t, did you? ”

I love having a direction/goal to work the characters towards – when I write fiction on my own, I like having goals and plot points, like romances, family and friend relationships, rivals and enemies.. why wouldn’t I like having the same with RP? RP is just collaborative fiction writing!

There’s no shame in liking ships, or even RPing for ships. There’s tons of people in the world who love to read romance novels, and no one tries to tell them that’s wrong or worse than liking mysteries, or fantasy adventure. Neither preference is wrong, it’s just that – a preference!
