Parents, do NOT make fun of or make 'jokes' about the LGBT community to your kids. They could easily be queer and/or gender non-conforming and it can be really hard for them to hear you say these things. And if they aren't queer and/or gender non-conforming, you are putting the idea in their head that it's ok to make fun of people for being different.
