With a tender touch, Tori took Asgore's wrist in her hand, and brought his palm up to her cheek. Leaning her head into his hand, her tears rolled over his fingers. "My Fluffybuns... my love..."

He wiped the tears under her eye with a large thumb

*My love.

Asgore repeated, a smile slowly grew on his face. A quiet chuckleturned into a loud bellow, and The King pulled Toriel into an embrace,overjoyed and filled with emotion

Toriel could think of no reason to remain concealed in the shadows. She stepped out into the light, and it was apparent her eyes were red from crying so much. "Yes... you are..." she sniffed, wiping her tears away with her sleeve, "but you used to be my miserable creature. I...I miss the times we had together, Asgore. I miss... you."

As she revealed herself, a smile appeared on Asgore’s face, a musclereaction whenever he was in Toriel’s presence

*And I you, my light

He lifted up his arm to wipe her tears, completely ignoring those slippingdown his own cheeks.But The King pulled his arm back, hesitant and afraid to anger Toriel again

*I asked Alphys to make me a phone so I could be hip like the other monsters. I think I’m doing quite well! I know all the texts now

Asgore paused for a moment, trying to recall

*”LOL” - Laugh out Loud *”OMG” - Oh, my God *”WTF” - Why the face

The King nodded confidently

From a soft murmur to a fierce shout, the voice grew like unrelenting flame, and spoke again. "Then how could you betray her so?! How could you decree all humans to be dangerous when one of your own children was human?!" The sorrowful sound of tears hitting the floor emanated from where the voice came from.

The shout caused the large figure of Asgore to jolt up ever soslightly

*Humans..

Asgore’s voice remained quiet

*..How could I declare all humans dangerous?..

*..To be afraid of the unknown, on both sides..to be so different fromeach other. I was so quick to group them all together as a threat toour people.

*..Toriel, you were the only one to see through all that nonsense

*I..

A pause.

*I let fear control me. Blind me. I let it take away everything closest tome.

*I am nothing more than a miserable creature.

*Aw dad! Don’t look so sour. Look! Your loving child came back to life, which is me! I expected a big smile, like old times we had together with mom and my brother! 

{Chara beamed} 

The sight of their human child with a smile on her face was quite contagious, spreading a weak smile onto Asgore’s face

*You are so sharp, young one. We are both aware of our relationship,

*But to use such sullen words with no care..

His smile began to fade

*Yeah it does, so I’m guessing you’re having a hard time as well talking to others.

A sullen nod followed the other king’s assumption 

*It is rather difficult to look at the faces of those you have put through such a hard time for so long,

Asgore paused, looking forward with a frown, but as quickly as it had appeared, the frown had disappeared into a smile

*Maybe these parties are to help forget those times, though

A whispering voice came softly from the shadows. "Asgore, did you ever truly love Toriel?" The voice was evidently female, and quite familiar.

*Did I?

Asgore repeated in question, he didn’t look around to findthe source of the voice, tired eyes only looking down towardsthe ground in a sullen manner*Since the moment I first saw Toriel, I have never stopped.
