52 Films by Women Challenge: Complete!
In January of 2016 Women in Film issued a challenge to film lovers: watch 52 films by women (or 1 per week) for a year. I managed to complete the challenge in the first half of the year. You can see the 52 films I watched from January to June here.
I tried to see if I could repeat the challenge in the second half of the year and get to 104 films. I did it! Here are the 52 films, all directed by women, that I watched from July 1-December 31, 2016. Movies in bold represent my top 10.
It’s never too late to start! You can take the pledge to watch the films here.
