i went on one date with this dude after this and he kept trying to make out with me in this other bar, that is definitively the grossest bar in my entire city, after introducing me to his friends who were all EASY in their mid to late thirties at the youngest. it’s pitch black in that no matter what time of day it is and perpetually smells like vomit. it’s always way louder than it needs to be. one time my now-best-friend threw up in the pool table. not ON the pool table. inside of the pool table. it’s that kind of bar. anyway. this guy kept telling me all this stuff about how he was abandoned by his mother and didn’t know his birthday, but thinks he’s an aries. and then he’d go on some lengthy rant about various ex lovers. and then he’d try to kiss me. and then he’d proceed to try on 8848564512 other personalities, each time trying to kiss me after he gave a different persona a go. i ignored several of his texts after that after he got increasingly dramatic and whiny, because if i wanted to fuck someone who acts like a 19 yr old, i’d fuck a 19 year old. he finally stopped texting me after i responded to, “why the radio silence?” with a picture of elsa from frozen singing let it go.

literally my best friend for 2 years emotionally abused the shit out of me for a long time because he was in love with me. he shamed me for having sex or even chemistry with anyone because it wasn’t him. he told me i was dramatic, the girl who cried wolf. he physically assaulted me in public and begged me not to tell anyone.

and idk. i look at me now. and i’m in love with someone and i’m happy and i’m starting to focus on my life going forward and my career. and i look at him. he left state and still doesn’t have a job. he’s in debt. he still resents me.
