"Having played Dean from Supernatural, how does it feel like playing Soldier Boy? That was just a trust in Eric, having the history that we have, he was able to write to me and kind of use the skill sets that he knows that I try to possess, and just try to follow the lead that these guys had set on on the set and try to bring something, a color or shade that maybe wasn’t there. Although it’s hard to say there wasn’t everything under the rainbow with what these guys had put together in the first couple of seasons, so I was just trying to stay in my lane, do my thing. This character was obviously very colorful and rich and layered. And it was a blast to get to play that and quite a departure for what I’ve been playing for you know, 15 years in a different world that this guy (Kripke) had created. So, always willing to play in any sandbox this guy builds."
