Obsessed with how absolutely unnecessary this kiss was for the plot. I expected at least some flirting or a conversation about sexuality to have commenced beforehand which would explain this, but no, nothing. Apparently, someone in that production wanted them to kiss and said "fuck it , they're gonna kiss anyway!"
