So, neither Near nor Mello were able to meet L, yet Near made a perfect mask of L when he confronted Light. The interesting part is, they weren’t able to meet L in person, but they both used to talk to Beyond Birthday back then in Wammy’s House. Does that mean Near’s mask was based on Beyond?

Nah’, the quote isn’t wrong. But yeah, it’s really bad compared to the English or other Dubs, also, L’s voice in the German dub is the same as J.D.’s from Scrubs in the German version.

It is, but I’m just not able to think about L as serious as with the Japanese dub, since I’m always waiting for Turk to walk in…

L has the same voice actor as the german Spencer from iCarly, Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler and many others. The voice actor is talented and he is doing a great job.
