Things I learnt from how I met your mother

- Don't be best friends with your ex and don't date your best friends ex and all 3 of you stay best friends

- running away from your own wedding happens a lot

-sometimes fate just works

-college romances sometimes actually work

- even if you and your friends drift apart you'll always be there for the big moments
