“You say that now.” He said and he blinked a few times as he processed light He could see the other was about to do something so he decided to run out of sight just as the other started to conjure his magic. “Did no one ever taught you not to use magic on the first date?”

“They did,” Jinx snorted with a smirk. “So I decided to let them have a taste of my luck manipulation on the first date instead. I think they’d have rather gone through the magic.” Jinx said before throwing a bolt of bad luck energy at the other, hoping it’d hit.

Jinx’s eyes narrowed as he heard the other talk, wondering if what he had in his pocket was what the other was talking about. “I would have been perfectly capable of handling him. Besides, good luck is always on my side. You should know that by now.” Jinx smirked as he looked at the other. “None of your business is what.” Jinx snorted as he took a step back away from his rival.

It looked as if the would be hero was ready to make a move on the thief but the guy never got the chance. A sudden blast of ice hit him hard and turned the do-gooder into a living ice sculpture. “Geez and here I thought I was the only one with sights on this place.” Kris stepped around his little creation and tapped the ice with a snicker. Then with a push the block fell over and shattered the hero into a million pieces. “Now that we’re done with that…” Turning with a friendly wave to the fellow thief. “…hiya doll!”

Jinx snorted as he looked at his rival and shook his head. The two were both strong, and they even worked together from time to time...But in the end, one of them always tried to outdo the other. It has stopped being personal, and has almost started becoming more of a competition between the two. “Just couldn’t stay away from my radiant aura, could you?” Jinx asked with a smirk ashe pocketed the gem.

“I mean, it’s more unique than basically copying your older man’s name and replacing man with lad. Granted, you Titans aren’t exactly known for being the most creative with your names.” Jinx snorted and shook his head. “What I want is for you to tell your superhero buddies to back the fuck off.”

“Excuse me?” Blackfire looked towards the other and shook his head, he was definitely not sure of what exactly he did to the other, but he was definitely trying not to punch his lights out. “I don’t care about that ugly ass artifact that you are trying to take, but I need to know where the titans are. And if you are aligned with them or not.” He wouldn’t have a problem kicking all of the titans’ asses and even any of the other’s who would try to get in his way of him killing Starfire.

“Don’t you ever associate me with those piles of trash again, got it?” Jinx growled as he looked at the other with a sharp glare and a shake of his head. Part of him wanted to gloat about the artifact, but decided not to...That would jsut make another person interested in it, after all. “Knowing them they’re probably at that disgusting pizza joint.”

 Wonder Boy sighed, raising his eyes to the lit ceiling as if help would come from above. Not that he needed it, but he should be so lucky - it was a very rare moment when his father actually deigned to provide a bit of a favor to one of his kids more often than once a year. Though maybe he didn’t really deserve it, seeing as he was caught off guard by the quick flash of light emanating from Jinx, the force shooting towards him and smacking into his chest hard enough to send him stumbling back a few feet. “Ugh… lucky shot,” he grumbled at him, rubbing his chest. Fuck, that hurt. “I’d set that pretty thing down, if I were you. Don’t want you to drop it while I’m tossing you around.” Without a pause too soon he sped forward, cracking the floor where he took off, closing the distance between them in two blinks of an eye and sending the measured force of his knee aimed towards the older male’s abdomen, targeting his solar plexus to take him out quickly and efficiently. He still had his show to get to, after all.

Fuck was the only thing Jinx could think of as the other lunged towards him. He did, however, have the energy in order to make a small shield that shattered when the other brought his knee up, but it did take quite a bit of the brunt. Still, Jinx grunted as he was kneed and sent into the air for a bit before growling as he flipped. “Take this!” This time, Jinx sent a wave of bad luck towards the other instead of his magic. Unknown to the two, a support beam that had been cracked suddenly gave away causing lots of debris to rain down. And who on? No one other than Wonder Boy.

“I think I’d live a lot better without you guys.” Jinx said with a roll of his eyes as he looked at the other with a snort. “And wheres the fun in that?” Jinx asked before throwing his hand up, allowing his magic to conjure up an energy blast as he did so.

One thing that Raze wasn’t expecting on a job, really, was to run into someone that was also trying to complete a job. And it seemed as though the male recognized the face he adopted for this particular mission. “Apparently not,” he spoke, moving his arms until they were straight by his side, preparing to use his bone claws if needed. He wasn’t really sure who the male thought he was, but he knew to keep up with the charade. Especially since he didn’t want to tip the man off to the fact that he had just killed two people that were at the exhibit’s grand opening. “It looks like you’ve been having fun, though.”

Jinx snorted and shook his head. “They advertise having priceless collections here...and then have this shitty protection to guard it? Forget about me being a criminal, that’s the true crime.” Jinx said with a shake of his head. “So you can’t blame me for having a little fun on their behalf.” Jinx laughed as he held up the jewel with a smirk on his face.

“Uh… no. Duh,“ the younger of the two replied with a little grin, lazily removing his lasso from his hip to get it ready. Wonder Boy was glad to have been the one chosen to deal with Jinx today, as it’d been a while since he’d seen some action, but he hoped nonetheless the damn jerk would come quietly. It’d be a shame to ruin the museum exhibit they were in. "Can we just get you all caught already? I have a show I need to get back to watching.”

“Of course. That would be to convenient, would it?” Jinx still didn’t get how, with his power of luck manipulation and other abilities, he was able to be unlucky sometimes. “Oh really? Am I being an inconvenience for you? Here, let me help you out.” Gathering his magical energy in his hand he shot it forward, shooting a small blast at the younger lad.

“Can I do one thing without one of you showing up?” Jinx asked with a sigh as he shook his head. Okay...So maybe he was stealing an ancient artifact to help his powers grow...And maybe he had knocked out a few people ot get said artifact...But still, Jinx hated that he never seemed to be able to get anything done without the losers showing up to try to stop him.

Adrian looked at him confused for a moment and then grinned. “My dear, I’ve had that for longer than you’ve been alive,” he said with a wink as he lead the way to his office. Holding the door open he let the student go in first. “I don’t believe I got you name.”

Kaleb snorted at the other man’s words and shook his head. “Isn’t it customary to give your name before asking for someone else’s name?” Kaleb asked with a raised eyebrow and a teasing smile as he looked at the professor.

Adrian was almost positive that the male was not talking about an actual history lesson. He gave a small grin. “My office private enough?” he asked as he let his hands slip into his pockets. He was not going to deny a student a chance to seduce him if they really wanted to. “I might need a little history on art, that is for sure. I’m a science guy.”
