(Okay, just a few things that I want to make clear. As I've stated in the past, I've been considering returning to this blog, but if I did, there were going to be some changes. Well, now it's highly likely that I will be coming back at least occasionally, mainly to start a new thread that I've been wanting to do. Eventually, I will tackle that huge mountain of drafts. But before I do, I want to make a few things clear as day.

My askbox is once again open. However, anon remains off and will continue to remain off until either people grow up and learn that bullying is not okay, or tumblr staff fixes the anon problem. Anything you have to say to me, you can say to my face without a mask. And if you can't, then odds are it's something you shouldn't be saying anyway. Do not ask me to turn anon on because it's not happening. There may be rare instances--very rare instances--where I will turn it on for a specific reason, and for a very limited time. Otherwise, it's off and will not be permanently enabled.

I am now a private RPer. This means I will only RP with a select number of people. I am not opposed to threading with new partners, but be aware that I reserve the right to say no for whatever reason. My askbox is open, and anyone wishing to plot is free to contact me. Keep in mind I will not follow back right away if we start RPing. I am not obligated to follow everyone who follows me, nor is anyone obligated to follow me for whatever reason. As of right now, I am limiting myself to only one partner for reasons I wish to keep to myself. This may change in the future, however.

Perhaps the most important thing: any OOC drama will not be tolerated. At all. Under ANY circumstances. This blog is 100% OOC-drama free. Unnecessary OOC drama will result in an instant unfollow and block. In this regard, I have a zero-tolerance policy. Do not ask me why I'm doing this or that, or why I'm choosing to only RP with one partner at the moment. My reasons are my own, and I ask that you respect that. Anyone even remotely trying to stir the pot will have their messages deleted and their blogs blocked. I am doing this to protect myself and keep my blog and dash drama-free. I do not answer to anyone else regarding my policies and my approach to roleplaying. This is a hobby and something I do for fun and to relax, and of course build up my writing skills.

Stop perpetuating a situation that is only growing worse and poisoning this RP fandom.

Stop inviting hateful anons to come to your inbox instead of your friends'. All you're doing is allowing the anon hate problem to continue. It's great you have your friends' backs, but throwing insults around to faceless people who aren't worth the time or effort it takes to write it out will not make it better. It will only make it worse.

Delete the hateful messages. Don't even look at them. Don't acknowledge them. Close the anon option or even your entire inbox for awhile if you have to.

But for the love of God stop encouraging them to continue their bad behavior. Just because you don't hide behind a mask doesn't mean it's okay for you to throw insults around too, regardless of who started it. Be better than they are, instead of sinking to their level.

(Also, in other unrelated news, I had a dream that involved Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, as well as Legolas and Elrond from Lord of the Rings. I don't remember much of the actual dream, except there were walkers literally freaking everywhere. But they were more annoying than scary. And I may have been romantically involved with Daryl. This is kind of amazing considering that I haven't watched The Walking Dead past all of season one and a couple of episodes of season two.

...Also, I may actually write a fic based on this, because I thought up some good scenes--)

Right, here's the bloody deal. Right now, I'm not coming back until I get my blog organized. Which I've had to put on the back burner because of other things. But when I do come back, because I have been entertaining that thought, I am going to become a private RPer. That means I will only RP with certain people. Call me a bitch, call me elitist, I don't care. I'm tired of the children in the fandom. I deal with enough of this shit at work, and I don't want to deal with it here, where I come to escape from the pressures of real life for a bit. I'm not letting anyone take that away from me.

If I've promised you an RP in the past, I will still honor that, as long as you're still interested. Otherwise, from now on, I'm a private RPer. Unless I approach you for an RP, don't even ask.)

I really hated Haytham Kenway, besides him being a Templar, you know those people who killed his Dad and sold his Sister into slavery and being cool with it. He was just bland I really did not care for him, he really wasn’t that great and over all he was boring.

I always kind of see people speaking up for Connor on these confessions and you know what? I think I’ve found one where I would like to take it upon myself to defend the hell out of my favourite character here who I also happen to RP.

Fine, you’re entitled to say he was “not all that great” and that he was “boring”. That’s a personal opinion and I have no beef with it.

However, what you’re not allowed to say is that he was cool with the Templars after they killed his Dad or sold his sister into slavery.

I’m going to go on a wild hunch here and say that you didn’t read Forsaken and that you skipped right over to the Wiki so I’m going to lay the smack down in the form of facts right here:

1. Haytham idolised his father. He called it something beyond love. He absolutely adored him and looked up to him beyond anything else in his entire life.

2. He spent something like 22-23 years of his life hunting down his father’s killers!

3. His mother gave him up to the Templars pretty early on in his life. Reginald Birch hoodwinked him into believing that his purpose and Creed that his father was bringing up in was the doctrine of the Templar Order. As Haytham had no other guidance than the family friend Reginald, he had no choice but to believe it.

4. Reginald was not only a mentor to Haytham through his adolescence but also his parental guardian. Haytham wrote letters to his mother which she chose to ignore after he saved her life. He had no one but the Order or Reginald at that point.

5. When he eventually found out that it was Reginald that killed his father he hunted him down in France and, random confessor, this is how “cool with it” he really was.

He said the words.

"You ruined my life."

Afterwards he could barely look at his Tempalr ring. He had NOBODY but the Order and his brothers that he had established in HIS vision. His own UNIQUE vision which was somewhat different to the zealous claptrap that Reginald spouted. His best friend committed suicide. Jenny hated him because, essentially, he was born male! His father was dead, his mother had died, Ziio had left him.

So when he really had no one and he was trying to mould the Templar Order into something more successful and better (To the point he wondered if he could unite both Templar and Assassin into one vision). I’d like to know in what bloody way was he simply “cool with it”?

Remember when..

Roleplaying didn’t feel like a damn competition? No one is getting paid, no one is gaining a promotion or an award.. Why does roleplaying feel like such a fucking competition? I don’t get it. People used to log onto their roleplay blogs because it was a break from their anxiety-filled life. Now, I swear the roleplay community is worse than real life. Or am I the only one who feels like crying after being on what was once the most beloved blog, out of all the blogs I have ever made, for ten minutes?

When did everything start to become a competition. A competition as to what canon characters have the best portrayal, original characters that have the most development and best background; or who’s writing style looked the fanciest. What happened to just writing because that’s what we love to do?
