    “I’m NOT yet desperate enough to get myself a child from a test tube, sis.” Just for a moment your attention is taken away from Rosie, eyes turned to your younger sister. “Plus, she’s quite a HANDFUL enough.” 

“It’s not an insult, Mols.” Liv gives her sister a shrug and expression best representing ‘what the fuck?’. “It’s not about desperation, it’s some motherly calling or whatever.” She waves a dismissive hand, letting the other make fluttery motions to entertain Rosie.

“You know I thought you’d gone and had a baby of your own when I showed up and you had this little cutie with you?” Olivia wiggles her fingers at her sister’s god daughter, smiling when she giggles.

“That’s great to hear, and no I didn’t. Tea?” Molly replied, dropping her keys in the bowl and heading straight for the kitchen, only sparring her sister the briefest of glances, her presence in her flat a familiar occurrence..  

“Are you telling me you only slept bad ONE NIGHT? ‘cause those are a week’s worth of dark circles.” Olivia teases lightly, but she knows her sister is stressed. “If you make a pot of green tea and soak a face cloth in it and let it sit all warm on your face for a few minutes you’ll look just peachy!”
