Soā¦anyone else think that abstraction is kinda like hypnosis?
hereās a bunch of doodles of jax getting stupid sauced :]
+ an alternate take on the scene with Ragatha.
Iād like to think in this version, before Ragatha could use the sauce, Jax approaches and mocks her. So, as a bit of a payback for the deep fryer incident, Ragatha squirts the stupid sauce into his eyes, aaaannnddā¦. yeah, basically what happens to Ragatha happens to Jax instead :]]
Even if stupid sauce is more substance use, Iām counting it.

Now itās Nayruās turn.
Remake of Oracles Entranced-Din.
The blonde young woman, Princess Zelda of Hyrule, was forcibly led down the castle halls she once knew as home, her gaze fixed on the floor. The weight of her captivity and the recent horrors she had witnessed pressed heavily upon her shoulders. Her father, the king, had been brutally murdered by a wizard from a distant land, and the soldiers she had grown up with were now mere puppets, enforcing the wizard's will with ruthless efficiency. Even the priest, who had risked everything to hide her, had been swiftly executed. Now, she was left with only one hope: "him." Her hero, her last beacon of light in a world consumed by darkness.
As the soldiers halted, Zelda found herself in an unfamiliar part of the dungeon, standing before a peculiar door adorned with an eye symbol. The door opened to reveal a small, dimly lit room, dominated by a grotesque golden chair. Crafted to resemble a monstrous beast, it had claw-like armrests and a horned, toothed headrest. The room was bathed in the flickering light of numerous candles, casting eerie shadows across the walls.
"Welcome back, Princess Zelda," a cold, familiar voice greeted her. Zelda's head snapped up, and her eyes narrowed with venom as she recognized the wizard, Agahnim, standing before her. "I'm sure the detour took you by surprise, yes?"
Zelda's lips tightened into a snarl. "Agahnim," she hissed, her voice dripping with contempt. "You don't seem too pleased to see me again," he observed, his tone mocking. "I, on the other hand, have been longing for your return."
"You killed my father," Zelda spat, her voice trembling with rage. "You've slaughtered countless innocents. How could I be anything but repulsed by you?"
Agahnim chuckled, a sound devoid of warmth. "Ah, yes. Speaking of, how is the local priest? I hear you've been quite the diligent caretaker in the Sanctuary."
Zelda's anger boiled over, and she lunged at the wizard, intending to slap him. But before her hand could connect, Agahnim waved his hand, and a force threw her backward into the monstrous chair. Claw-like restraints clamped down on her wrists, and golden claws seized her ankles, pinning her in place. "What the?!" she cried out, struggling futilely against her bonds. "Release me!"
Agahnim's smile was triumphant. "After finally retrieving you? Not a chance." He savored the sight of the bound princess, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You see, since your absence, we have been behind schedule, so the ritual must begin soon. Otherwise, your dear hero shall come to your rescue," he sneered. "I am no fool, my princess. I shall also ensure that you don't send him any help once you are sent away to the Golden Land!"
"The Golden Land?!" Zelda shouted, her eyes wide with horror. "No! You can't do that! It would unleash untold destruction and chaos on Hyrule!"
"Exactly," Agahnim replied, his voice cold and calculating. "And the only obstacle keeping me from that goal is you and that insolent green-clad boy." The eye in the middle of his headdress began to glow with an intense, golden light. "He, I will deal with later. But you, well, you've proven that you and that young man have a littleā¦connection."
A blush crept across Zelda's cheeks, despite her attempts to hide it. "I don't know what you're talking about," she lied, her voice unsteady.
"You brought him to the castle, and you have been guiding him ever since. And should I not perform this spell now, you shall surely assist him in some way from your prison," Agahnim explained, his voice taking on a hypnotic quality. "Thus, you won't be using your mind to send any more messages to your hero. Instead, my messages shall be all that matter to you."
Zelda's eyes widened in realization as a bright, golden beam shot from the eye in Agahnim's headdress, striking her forehead. A wave of warmth spread through her, erasing her tension and panic, replacing them with a profound sense of serenity. "What-" she began, her words slurring as her thoughts became foggy. "What are youā¦doing?"
Agahnim's grin widened, and he locked eyes with her. "I am putting you in your place, my dear. By the end of this, all will become clear to you."
Zelda's struggle to speak intensified as the golden light engulfed her, its power seeping into her very being. "Clear? What will beā¦" she managed to ask, her voice trailing off as her thoughts slipped away. "Whatā¦what is thisā¦magic?"
"Oh, this isn't magic, princess," Agahnim said, his voice laced with amusement. "This is the Power of Gold."
Zelda's head swam, and she felt a strange, euphoric sensation spreading through her body. "Powerā¦of Gold?" She paused, her mind struggling to comprehend. "You meanā¦"
"Yes," Agahnim confirmed, his voice a soothing whisper. "I have some mighty friends, my dear. And one of them just happens to be the most powerful being of them all."
Before Zelda could form another question, a massive, golden eye materialized before her, engulfing her vision. The eye began to float in circular patterns, and Zelda found herself unable to look away, her gaze locked onto the hypnotic orb.
Do not speak. Do not look away.
Zelda's mind reeled as an omnipresent voice echoed in her head, its power overwhelming her senses. The voice was both commanding and comforting, pulling her deeper into a trance. "Whatā¦what is-"
Silence.
Zelda felt her words robbed from her, her will bending to the thundering voice in her mind. Or was it also heard by Agahnim? The wizard continued to project the beam into her forehead, his power intensifying with each passing moment.
You shall surrender your will to me. You shall be my servant.
Zelda's eyes grew wide as the eye before her pulsed with an otherworldly light, its power seeping into her very soul. "What...is this?" She strained to ask, her voice barely a whisper.
"This is a process all that have come before you have gone through. No harm shall come to you. In fact, you shall find it quite irresistible," the voice explained, its tone soothing and hypnotic.
Indeed, as Zelda gazed into the eye, she felt a strange, tingling sensation throughout her body, a bizarre sense of euphoria washing over her. Her mind went blank for a moment, and when she willed herself back to consciousness, she found herself longing for the blissful oblivion.
A stubborn one. I suspected she would be. Agahnim thought, his grin widening beneath his veil. But it doesn't matter. Her mind shall belong to us shortly all the same.
"But..." Zelda strained, trying to clear her thoughts. But it was so hard to focus. "But you're not..." she wanted to say "Agahnim," but the words were lost in the haze of her mind. "Who...are you?"
The voice inside her mind spoke again, its power irresistible.
I am the one who wields the power of gold, the triforce. I am the one who shall not only seize the Light World; the eye began to glow with an intense, golden light. But also your mind.
Zelda's eyes were captivated by the eye, its power pulling her deeper into the trance.
Now, your will shall become mine. And you shall be content and willing to heed my every command.
The iris of the eye broke out into rippling patterns of shimmering gold, ensnaring Zelda and beckoning her to watch, to surrender.
"Yes, watch, my dear." Agahnim's voice was a hypnotic lullaby, guiding her deeper into the trance. "Watch and surrender. Surrender your will to your new master." He urged. "Your mind is mine to hold and command. You have no need or want for independent thinking." He said, Zelda's gaze locked onto the eye, her will crumbling before its power. "You wish to fall deep under the Golden Power." He said, his voice a soothing whisper, lulling Zelda further into a state of blissful mindlessness. "Fall and fall deeper. Yes, deeper still. Deep into my power."
She had no choice but to obey, her mind and body surrendering to the overwhelming power of the hypnosis. Further and further into the trance Zelda sank, her eyes locked onto the singular optic that held her captive.
Surrender your will. And fall into my power.
"F-Fall..." Zelda stammered, her voice a whisper of anticipation. "Into your power..."
Yes. Your mind crumbles before me. And you shall embrace blissful mindlessness.
"M-Mind...less...ness." The words sent a shiver of anticipation through Zelda, despite her initial resistance.
"Now," Agahnim said, his voice triumphant. "You are mine."
Zelda nodded in agreement, her will completely subsumed by the power of the eye. "L-Li-Li-nk..." she strained, thinking of her hero, but it was too late. The eye glowed with an intense, golden light, and Zelda was wholly consumed, her consciousness falling into the abyss. And she couldn't have been happier. The once defiant princess sat there in a chair binding her wrists, now a blank, obedient slave to her captor's will. Her eyes glowed with a bright, yellow light, a testament to the depth of her hypnosis.
"Now then, my headstrong princess," Agahnim said, reveling in her helpless state. "Whom do you serve?"
Zelda registered the wizard's question and answered without hesitation, her voice calm and content. "I serve you, my master." She said, a blissful smile spreading across her face. "I am to serve my master however he may choose. I am his content servant and pledge my servitude to him."
"Good girl," Agahnim said, a cruel smile playing at the corners of his mouth. The chair released her, and she rose, her posture straight, arms by her side. "You live to serve us."
"I live to serve you." Zelda repeated, her voice a soothing whisper, filled with unwavering devotion.
"You are an obedient slave to us."
"I am an obedient slave to you."
"And your hero will not succeed."
Zelda's expression remained blank, her mind locked in a state of deep hypnosis. Agahnim activated his eye again, plunging her even deeper into the trance. "Your mind is mine to command and control." The wizard said. "And your hero will not succeed. Not without you."
"Not without me." Zelda repeated, her voice devoid of emotion.
"Indeed, not without you." Agahnim continued to cast his magic, his power seeping into her very soul. "You belong to me, my dear."
The blankness came over her again; she was back into the trance. "I belong to you."
"Good, now," Agahnim said. "You shall be escorted to the ceremonial chamber, and there, you shall fulfill your role in opening the sealed gate."
"I shall fulfill my role in opening the sealed gate." Zelda repeated, her voice a monotone whisper.
"Now, go." Zelda outstretched her arms and walked towards the door, the two guards taking her without hesitation. Seeing her blissfully ignorant smile, they knew she was sealed in the wizard's hypnosis.
"I am a loyal servant of Lord Ganon."
She mindlessly walked with them, arms outstretched and eyes still wide with glowing yellow irises, a testament to the depth of her mind control. And the entranced Princess Zelda went with her captors without hesitation, her only desire to obey and serve, her mind a blank slate, ready to be filled with the will of her new master.

Pope Francis has been a voice of compassion and justice for the people of Gaza. As a humble Palestinian mother, I am deeply moved by his prayers and supportāespecially when he called for healing for my injured baby, Qais. We are suffering greatly, and I cannot afford the medical care my child needs. I kindly ask Christians around the world: in honor of Pope Francisās message of mercy, please consider donating to help Qais recover. Your generosity can bring life and hope.

Pope Francisās support for Gaza has been a light in our darkest times:
1. He has consistently spoken out against the violence in Gaza, urging peace and protection for civilians.
2. He has shown deep compassion for Palestinian women, recognizing our pain, dignity, and strength under siege.
3. He has reminded the world that children, like Qais, are innocent victims who deserve care and protection.
Inspired by Pope Francisās love for peace and justice, I humbly ask again: please help me save my son. I am willing to do anythingāeven clean shoes in the streetājust to keep Qais alive. Your donation is not just charityāit is a living act of faith and mercy.

Well, I did it.
I experienced hypnosis for the first time.
And it was both what I thought it would be yet at the same time, not.
I felt, for the first time in a while, the lack of a normal sense of tension or anxiety that usually always follows me, yet I wasnāt rendered stupid.
Your brain and everything in it is still there, it just is operating differently to an extent.
My hypnotist was great and really helped make the sessions both enlightening and enjoyable, but Iāll confess that Iām not normally an open person and I feel I may have been too willing to share everything.
Nothing illegal or immoral, but secrets I thought I would take to the grave were revealed with only a little push here and there.
Thus, I believe itās something Iām going to be stepping back from for the time being, but if Iām feeling up to it in the future, Iāll explore it more.
For now, outside of art (another helpful feature from the sessions), Iām going to be light on social media and messaging as a whole.
Still though, thank you for the experiences and lessons,
Teacher.

You know how the Black Arms are technically considered a hivemind?
You know how Shadow has Black Arms DNA and can tap into the Black Arms hivemind?
You know how in the Archie Comics, Shadow was partially assimilated into the Black Arms hivemind for a brief period of time?
Headcannon that the Shadow is very easily subdued by brainwashing, hypnosis, and other types of general mindfuckery due to some sort of mental short circuit regarding the part of his brain that lets him tap into the Black Arms hivemind. Like, that shit is his Achilles heel. Put a spiral gif in front of his face for a few seconds and my man is down for the count.
I needed this stupid fucking mental image out of my head and on a screen. I imagine Rouge does this to him frequently, either to get away with shit or to fluster him/piss him off once he comes to.
