Young Johnnie Handsome

Rashid Hall born September 23, 1985, better known as Young Johnnie Handsome, was born in Jersey City NJ. He grew up in Curries Woods and A. Harry Moore (known as Duncan projects), two housing projects where he saw street life early and honed his rapping skills. At age 5 he already knew the harsh sting of tragedy. He saw his mother was murdered in A. Harry Moore housing complex. Looking for an outlet to express himself, he chose hip-hop. Perfecting those skills, he now finds himself a rarity in the realm of hip-hop, where it is more about swagger than delivery and skill. With a commanding on-stage presence, Young Johnnie Handsome delivers quick-witted lyrics like a seasoned professional. His upbeat “Sucka MC’s” hits hard with a classic hip-hop style. Since entering the game, Young Johnnie Handsome, in a short time, has already drawn comparisons to an early Nas. He looks to use his East Coast sound to standout in the game. Much of his present and future success is in part due to a slew of positive mentors. He has worked with many well-known producers throughout his budding career, renowned producers like the Dream Team.
