Sorry for the late response, I haven't checked my tumblr in months. To answer your questions, yes I still work at CDI. Your experience with CDI will depend on what branch you go to and how competent your management is. I know a lot of people who work at CDI and their experiences vary, some horrible, some ok, and some good. Another downside is the lack of vacation time (only 10 days unpaid), and you will get no holidays off (except for Chuseok and Korean New Years). So a lot of times I'm working while my friends are enjoying delicious beers in the sun and I feel like a caged bird looking out my classroom window wanting to fly away...LOL. However, the one benefit of working at CDI is the pay, which is relatively high compared to other Hagwons. In terms of teaching classes, once you learn the curriculum and get the hang of it, it's easy. So, basically, if you want to make a lot of money and save up, then CDI would be good for you. BUT, if you want to enjoy Korea more and take vacations around Asia, then I would recommend another job.Hope this helped.
