Well (as explained in Satisfaction), the Light cut off Original Roy’s arm to use it for DNA to make the clone Roy. The DNA and programmers, I guess, grew Roy so he was like a normal human (kind of) so that’s why he has both arms.

Can anyone explain it better than me because I feel like I did a bad job :/

i think you did ok im just confused as to why they had to bring a roy from the past in order to make a clone roy and how is this going to affect the time space continuum since now there’s present!Roy with two arms and past!Roy with one arm? or is it somehow a time paradox?

They didnt go in the past, they abducted him and kept him on ice for 8 years while the clone from his arm lived his life
