Consequences | Dorian & Maria
Dorian wanders the streets of northern Copenhagen. He tells himself that it’s an aimless walk, but he knows that isn’t true. He’s heading, vaguely, toward Klampenborg, even though he knows that Mathias and Luca aren’t there. He chuckles at the thought that, in his time of crisis, he wants to see Mathias. Mathias of all people.
The raid had come in the middle of the night and, at first, they thought it was retaliation from The Order. But it had turned out to be nothing more than regular thugs. Most of the resistance had scattered and regrouped later, but some didn’t. The Seraph was still locked in his vault, but they had taken the boy. He wonders whether the slavers knew how important he was and what he could do?
As he slowly strolls into a more residential areas, he notices that the life looks better here, almost as if The End never happened. He’d lost his big gun in the raid, but he still had his hand gun tucked into the back of his pants. He thinks about using it, but knows that it would only cause him pain and not kill him. Instead, he ducks into a back alley and slides down the wall for a proper feeling sorry for himself session.
Maria was one of the lucky ones, the order and all those random societies that took over liked her a lot, she was taken care of at that point with anything she needed. Though they weren't aware their little doll was doing them harm from under the radar, she was a writer and a dangerous one for governments at that. Getting info at meetings where she pretended to be a ditz she wrote most everything up on her blog for the rebels, some hard copy publications were handed out as well, her alias kept her identity safe while the order had people looking for her.
Waking in her neighborhood she looked around nervously the streets were oddly empty and that brought on plenty of fear for what was to follow. Looking at the houses that were cookie cutter homes for the 'behaved' individuals that managed to play the game with the leaders and were winning.
Walking from her house to visit a friend at some café to talk and enjoy themselves in the brisk evening. Dressed up in jeans and red top she was trying to avoid eyes and any one that dared to try to mess with her. Ducking into an alley she froze seeing a man sitting down looking like he knew all the world's sorrows. Moving a little closer she knelt inf ront of him, 'sir are you alright?" she didn't know why she was asking but her wolf side was telling her to do so, 'Its alright, I'm Maria, who are you?"
