I just remembered something I wanted to tell all of you in case you didn't already know:

There is an Animal Crossing Youtuber called TheBitBlock that I used to watch sometimes and it turns out that the man running it, Josh Thomas, has some very nasty far-right opinions for which he has even been banned from Twitter. I would not have known about this if he hadn't made a post about it on YouTube himself (Although maybe I should have noticed when he brushed off the new skintones like some kind of gimmick or when he complained that there were too many "female" clothing options in the game).

He is openly pro-Trump and has expressed his agreement with Trump calling BLM protesters "thugs" while also making countless other homophobic and racist tweets. His following is made up of people who either share his messed up worldview or defend him simply because he is a relatively famous youtuber.

I really don't want to get involved in any kind of drama, I just wanted to let you know because as I said as a casual watcher of his videos I had no idea what kind of person I was supporting and I want all of you to be able to make an informed choice.

Stay safe out there and maybe recommend other Animal Crossing youtubers in the comments instead!
