Y'know, even with the lights along the path, walking home after this class is always really scary... no matter how many times I do it.

At least I still have Pidge's flashlight.. that I forgot to return...

Hmm. I'm used to only being paranoid about seeing stuff, but now I could've sworn I just heard footsteps..?

(She turns around, pointing the flashlight behind her, and then out towards the campus lawn, before relenting and facing forward again, continuing her walk)

(Suddenly, her flashlight fizzles out, with the sound of a small crackle of electricity)

…Huh?? What the hell-

(Someone comes up behind her as she's standing in front of the stairs, and shoves her.)

(Not expecting it, she falls, hitting her head hard off of the stairs, and there's the sound of a sickening crack, just before she begins to feel warmth dripping down the side of her head.)

A-ah, the fuck-?!

(Her vision blurs at the edges, and she's too dizzy to reorient herself as she looks up, seeing Brandon. Her eyes widen and the colour drains from her face.)

..Wh- leave me alone! What do you want-

(He grabs her arm roughly, pulling her up. She tries to pull back, but isn't strong enough, and is too off-balance to gain leverage.)

I don't think you need to worry your pretty little head about what I want.

(He drags her off of the sidewalk and shoves her back against a nearby tree, pinning her and sending a jolt of electricity through her.)

(Her eyes faintly swirl with teal for just a split second, a detail Brandon doesn't notice.)

I want your help with something, sunshine. I just need you to sit still for a second, alright?

(He steps closer to her, pushing her more against the tree as he sends multiple volts of electricity through her, causing small muscle spasms throughout her body.)

(She screams for just a moment before falling silent and completely spacing out. Her fingers twitch and her eyelids flutter.)

One of your absence seizures? Well, I guess that's convenient.

(He grabs her hand, also pinning it against the tree, and intertwines their fingers as he presses his magic towards hers.)

(She comes back to herself and begins struggling again, but can't shake the disorientation, and the continued electrocution prevents her from using her magic or managing any kind of physical coordination. It's like her core is muted.)

(Eventually, she slumps back and visibly dissociates.)

(He continues the bridging process.)
