I’ve been so busy trying to deal with college and music stuff, I’ve neglected this account I’m so sorry

Have some WIPs plus new designs I’m working on

(More art + rambling under the cut)

I’ve gotten really into horror games recently (Still Wakes the Deep, Amnesia, etc.) and so it made me want to redesign BATIM to be more scary and dark, with some themes thrown into the mix. Especially more story of before events of the game and the start of it all, because lord do we need that now because of the… graphic novel. So now I have a whole notes page in my phone on random ideas and notes and all that.

Not to mention the Not Dead Yet AU I promised, what, a year ago?

I might mix the two ideas together unless the original idea is what everyone liked?

He’s normally fine with them, but when writing songs he gets annoyed very easily.

(Sorry it took me some time to get to this, I also just might make a big ol’ drawing dump of at some point filled with old and semi-recent things I haven’t finished)

I thought putting Sammy in greyscale would be a nice contrast to the rest of the painting, but I couldn’t leave out his iconic long blond hair so I had to color that in.

It’s been a while since Henry’s been able to be funny it’s his time to shine and he’s ecstatic about it

HAH I dare indeed, I think in his past life he probably had to arrange the whole music department himself and that piano doesn’t have any wheels to move it easily, don’t get him started on getting it down the elevator

Bruh, he didn't even have wheels on his piano??? No wonder he lost his mind (chugging ink probably didn't help either 😅) .

They should've written more jokes in Henry's dialogue, that's a missed golden opportunity right there.

Anyone remember that one doodle I made months ago of the idea for Sammy not dying in chapter 5?And how I said I was making it a comic and haven’t worked much on it cause of school?

Well I’ve been working on concepts, I made one before and I drew it and these are more recent changes and ideas

This one’s gonna be a bit long of a post cause I just wanna get it all out there.

I had the idea to make the eyes on the mask look like an X and I’m not certain if I want to stick with that or not. It makes the expressions a bit difficult to try to make

Similar problem with the cape thing, I’ll keep the concept but I’m likely going to change the style of it.

Beloved tired man Henry. I rather like how he ended up so he’s probably going to stay the same. I had some notes that I could fit in with the drawings.

(I’m thinking of calling it Not Dead Yet AU, and since making a full comic might be a bit much for me to do maybe I should make it a sort of ask the characters thing?)

I want to talk about the reasons now, so here they are:

Sammy almost killed Henry

He tried to kill Tom and Allison as well

Sammy is horrible with being ordered by Allison or Tom, he’ll only listen to Henry… or his lord

He tried to talk with the big searcher, did not end well, Henry died, he came back of course but it annoyed Allison. Sammy’s reason was, “I understand the rest of them, but that one sort of just groaned.”…they all do

Allison and Tom dread the fact that Sammy JUST DOESNT STAY DEAD, He’ll take a little while longer than Henry but that just means he scares them on accident by just showing up out of nowhere

Sammy once said that Allison sounded “odd”…he meant familiar

He told Tom to “shut it” more than once

Sammy has an extremely perceptive sense of hearing and he hates that they all breathe? for some reason he doesn’t understand

Sammy’s voice is too smooth
