You're A Shade
You’re a shade. You’re a pigment that lingers. Even when I dilute you, You come back stronger and thicker. A constant, That slithers through my veins, Turning me a sickly taupe, The color of your must-have heels. While from the back of my mind, The unhinged jaw of your Constraint, Swallows me whole. And flooded in viscid secretion, I’m stuck again, Wallowing in a constant hue That’s nauseating.
