MR. FUCKER, SAY YOUR LAST WORDS!!!

Been a while, who know moving twice at the last third of the year and taking on multiple projects would mean I'd leave this behind, whoops!

First and foremost, I was gonna do an epic last drawing sesh' with all the characters I've drawn previously on one page but then December hit and I had so much shit pilled up to do (and I got sick Christmas day oml) that this is the best I mustered up, not even anatomy practice of any sort but it was fun drawing on this big ol' sketch book again. I had the plans of drawing everyone on one page from the start too, vurp.

I was actually planning on drawing Kagura after the 34th week but that was just right when I moved, crazy looking back on it. I had few more characters in mind I still wanted to draw such as a good majority of the Genshiken cast (IM SORRY MADARAME), and some manga characters I've read during this period, but at last, my time was running much thinner.

I remember so many of these sketches being done on a Sunday night shift and I'd just stay up late knowing I still had work the next day, what a goober I was. I would look back from previous weeks and be like, "damn it's really picking up now". (oh especially that headshot on Week 34, Kaji looking so fine...)

Truly, if it wasn't for the double move I would've finished this off but that's not the timeline we live in. I had fun doing this, despite the unfortunate abrupt end to these weekly drawings, I really did enjoy the time learning the basics of how to draw. But, that wraps up this project, the fish will now turn to stone and become a memory- (something profound and well written, you get the jest). youremg is forever yours, peace love and goodbye

My Hands Hurt

Just to heads up for the unseeable future, for the next two months might become a bit rocky with me freaking moving!! That aside, pony tailed man makes his debut here from hit series Robo Gogo Shonen! Its Kaji!

He's so fine. I was gonna get to these yesterday but I was so friggin' tired and slowly packing and throwing away stuff too its a dang ol' mess over here!

I liked the close up drawings, feel like I'm slowing down on mine drawing skills, not sure how to gain that grip back other than just keeping it pushing while simultaneously not pushing myself too hard, very tricky this drawing stuff huh?

May the good lord still keep me at it with all this busy stuff in life I gotta do, peace y'all.

ermergerhd I'm gonna re read Genshiken for a 4th time cause fuck it I can literally go to the store and buy candy whenever!

I wish I did a better job this week, especially with the return of Genshiken on the menu. I drew her in an angel and devil outfit cause she be shy and cute and but then you get her talking about gay men she doesn't know how to act up... the drawings came out ok. I like da inked drawing doe.

This journey continues and I'm glad I have the fire pit in my belly asking for more, learning and practicing the craft is super rewarding. See y'all next week gang leaf! (I've been awake for like 17 hrs now (holy moly that slapped in doodle is so poorly edited, wtf!!))

Pretend it's Tuesday

Coming in very late but I'm here to present Ms. "Honey where are my pants?" Curly!

First things first, always some how, the warm up doodle comes out way better than the actual inked drawing, how pitiful. Secondly, I was hanging with the fam so I was like "erm tf?" you feel me?

Still haven't beaten that ultra ending in Cave Story where you gotta strap up Curly to a barrel of dynamite, ah good times... (she doing the miku hair thing in da drawing look look)

No excuses, you shall see me this Sunday with a whole new page of epic f**king doodles, I mean it! (oh yeah, no reference page this time around, vurp)

I am with the shits. Everyone knows this rockstar, she cried when she listened to OK Computer for the first time: Its Lammy!

I yain't played her jammer game but I have played the co-op of Parappa 2 with my buds so like I feel like I know the character pretty well. I drew her tired and sleeping idk why, just felt like that's her vibe, I know she be worrying about like the financial state of the world and such.

As soon as I'm down with this project at the end of the year I wanna learn how to draw with perspective, so you get those cool angle shots. I'm not there yet but man the future feels bright sometimes. Fucked up inking her face on da big drawing, that pencil doodle up dare' looks better.

Really didn't know who to draw this week, that's like my motif now (32nd week coming soon!)

Guys it the 30th week...

Wow guys, happy to reach this milestone, less than half the year to go. Everyone's favorite growing boy from the sticks, Naota!

I am getting so lazy as of recent and it definitely shows in my art (and even the reference page lolzort). I gotta get back in the groove of things but it also seems like my right hand gots some pain going so like ermm thats a problem.

Hello tumblr users, I return this 29th week with this girl who uses her cellular data all the time, Lain from the Lain Show!

Was gonna do this yesterday but I came back from work and then slept for like 4 hours, I must of been tired, vurp. Liked how these came out, I think for the one time Lain should be silly before going back to her cloud security job.

Next week is the 30th of these dang ol drawings, tryna think ahead of time so I got a good grasp of what to draw. hermm hermm more anime more anime...

Anyways, hopefully less bumps in the road as these go on. (oh yeah, didn't wanna make a reference page for lain so instead I made that picmix, its ugly as sin and I love it :D )

Was gonna do this sooner but I was out and about in the country exploring far out lands and what not (visited my family lol). Flagellant from one my favorite games y'all.

Out of all the series I wanna draw characters from, its mos def Darkest Dungeon and more Genshiken too (i am so gay oml) that I'll keep going back to. I was gonna start it sooner as the date of the doodle states but just rounded up doing that one drawing and then leaving my abode for the weekend, derp. Kinda liked how these turned out, I gave buttons on his mask on that top doodle so he can like, you know- see i guess.

Very awesome reference page too, I have that body pillow too, thanks Red Hook!

Anyways, I want to be able draw hands correctly at least by the end of this year so I can draw big yaoi hands as god intended. I'll see yall soon!

No more hissy fits! Coming back with a teacher that we all know and love, Mr. Despair! (that's what he is called in the west like dafuq)

Check it, even if this isn't that big of priority in my life, I still want to see this little project to the end. At some point this little funny "lol" art style I'm doing for these "anatomy" poses will merge with my actual art style and I gotta train for that, this shit is my baby steps, on the dead homies.

Enough real talk, these drawings came out fine. The one where he claims he is not an uke were the first drawings, anytime there's just a random drawing floating on the page, that's the first doodle I do on a separate paper.

Funny manga, I'm almost done with it, thank you to all the online translators out there doing the most for us fellow otakus, thumbs up! I shall be back next week with more outrageous characters.
