An indescribable feeling arose within her.

She couldn't tell if it was sadness... envy... despair, disgust, anger, empathy, hatred... love... pity... loss...

To the her who was also her, to the her who wasn't her, she didn't know what to say. But maybe... as a mere ghost, a shadowy image, a pale reflection, she had no right to say anything.

So "Sua" quietly watches her from the reflection in which she's trapped, unwilling to leave nor willing to speak.

In a stagnant air filled room, two girls of the same stature seemed to stare one another down, not eyeing, not judging... simply staring. Short, black hair falling in the same way, slim shoulders unable to square themselves to appear confident.

They resembled one another in every way.

On one hand, the pale reflection in what seemed to be a mirror, or glass of sorts, was rather tattered; She looked tired, eyes void of any feeling, and blue.

Lavender bores in to large pupils in silence, blinking once, twice to figure if she's seeing things. However, this wasn't her first encounter. These two had conversed many a time before, and each time seemed to be worse than the last. They had a routine.

Dark eyebrows furrow briefly as she glances down at where her dress sits atop her chest, a gloved hand moving to adjust it in slight frustration. She always hated seeing this one, it had gotten progressively more irritating closer to the impending airing of the first episode, The live broadcast.

After a rather flustered fixing of the short, white fabric, Sua fixes her stance, slightly taller than her usual with her performance heels on. This dress was new, she had never performed in it before, and this time Mother hadn't picked it.

"I already know what you want to say.." A frail voice eventually spoke up, a bite to it rather than its normal soft elasticity. She had a feeling she knew where this would go.

"You do?"

What could have been a mocking whisper is deadened by the lack of vitriol behind it. Listless blue eyes drift to the side, finding more interest in the dressing room behind than the figure in front.

She pauses when she spots a small navy bottle, but quickly loses interest when she sees that it's not hair dye.

"It isn't hard to guess when the only thing we care about right now is... her."

When this all had begun- These encounters- Sua had assumed if she turned away, didn't look, or even shut her eyes, that the mirror would stop looking back at her, would stop asking questions. Stop mocking her.

She sighed sharply, not having the energy to sit and bicker with the being that somehow mimicked her. Whatever it was lacked any empathy, any emotion. It's eyes weren't the right color.

Turning on her toes, Sua had decided to tidy up. The inevitable was to happen soon. They'd discussed this time and time again.

"You heard her last time," She bit out, the stark white room barren aside from her own personal belongings: Books, some writing utensils, the clothes she had worn in the few days prior to this. She works at folding the days prior clothing, dropping the fabric on top of a small desk. "We'll tie; I promised her that..." Lavender eyes glance over her shoulder, a mixture of black and teal hair jostling about as she did, "You saw how excited she was.. We'll tie, and sister will be proud of me."

After this, once the time calls, there are no more rehearsals. No more hushed cries in a silent night. No sleepless nights in anticipation for mechanical fish catching, for classes.

A gloved hand softly grips at the hem of a white skirt.

"You know the promise as well as I do.."
