If you could relive just ONE memory what would it be ? - when i was like 8, it was christmas eve and i was with my family. we were driving home from the xmas eve service, listening to god bless the broken road, it was super dark and it was snowing, and it was really quiet in the car. it was the most serene moment of my entire life.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. to my daughter & all other daughters out there

Honey I know you smell it, that house burning miles away and with it the boy with brown eyes. I see you wearing your armour and collecting all the galaxies and chocolates in your backpack, ready to give him your version of the world but honey, stay for another 5 seconds and think, does he want to be saved? Is he worth all the burns on your beautiful soul. Do you really want to put yourself through that or you want to wear your fuzzy pj’s and cuddle with Mr. Bubsy and eat all the Nutella until you fall asleep in your warm, cosy bed?

I know what you’re going to decide. I know it because I chose to enter the burning house too. I can’t stop you but I can tell you that I will be sitting on the porch with fresh pancakes and towels. There is no heartbreak in this world that pancakes can’t fix and towels because no matter how many oceans you tread, no matter how long you stand in the rain, no matter how many rivers you fill with your tears,  the water that imprints your body and soul will dry.

Believe me there are worse things in this life than not being in a relationship with someone, you may not realise this now, but you will one day.

Do not conform to this societies standards of beauty, you were created with one thing and only one thing in mind, to be the best version of you.

Never compare yourself to that girl, she is beautiful I agree and I know you wish to be her but angel, if you’re going to be her, then who is going to be you? 

Don’t listen when they say that you don’t belong here. Always remember you never belong to a place, you belong deeply to yourself. 

This void that you’re stuck in isn’t eternal. Nothing in this world is eternal. It will end, the pain will end. Remember, the rain washes away everything and afterwards grows plants in your void
