Good day, all visitors. My name is Charles H. Lee of Cheshire, England, and I am at your courteous service as your humble yet formidable General of the Continental Army.

I have made an appearance on this... lovely platform, as a way to receive and deliver correspondence, otherwise it take a multitude of days (and hell knows we all have that much time on our hands.) Any and all may reach me by the way of my letterbox, though that does not guarantee an answer.

Please note that I am a very busy gen'ral, one of great responsibility and compassion for the cause I fight for, and thus a reciprocation of letters may take some time.

Once more, I am quite a powerful soldier, so I advise that you do not test me, lest I resort to harsher means. however do not let this be of fright to you— I am near as human as any other here.

I am.. decent. My poor Spado is doing unwell, the mangy canine has developed a limp. I have been trying to care for him the best of my ability, but there's no telling how long the old boy has.

Other than that, I have been fine. I am currently at Ticonderoga, preparing for battle. I have a physician at Long Island if need be; though I sincerely hope I will not need his assistance.
