Just a little something I put together, very recently returned from a birthday trip to London. And this was one of my main goals, to visit Sir Robert Helpmann's memorial plaque at St. Paul's Church aka The Actors Church at Covent Garden. Not going to lie, got slightly choked up and teary when I found him. Because in my head I could hear his voice saying to Michael Parkinson when he was interviewed by him in Australia "Oh...I don't expect to be remembered forever".

Inside St. Paul's Cathedral in London, just a few more from our staycation trip. Went into the crypt to visit my all-time favourite naval hero, Horatio Nelson, and I have to admit...Yes, I did have a tear in my eye, it was genuinely quite emotional.
Took a little trip to London recently, visited some of the most iconic landmarks. To be fair it had been a while since we visited them.

This came through the post...finally after HMV had more in stock so just like the 4k Blu Ray Steelbook these are flying out of the warehouses.
They must be flying out of those warehouses.
I was very...very lucky enough to pre-order the 4K Blu Ray Steelbook Edition of Nosferatu before they sold out...again at HMV.
Also I'm hoping this will include the Extended Cut? If not I'm going to be very annoyed.

This by far is the most heartbreaking but beautiful piece of music from the Nosferatu Soundtrack, when I close my eyes and listen, I’m visualizing that entire scene again. At the end, when poor Ellen had to be the sacrifice to end the curse of Nosferatu, Just heartbreaking.
So not only is Count Orlok’s voice living rent free in my head so is this.

I’ve seen this film 3 times already. Jfc. By far the most beautiful gutpunching emotionally mentally spiritually impactful film I’ve seen in years. I don’t have the words to describe how special it is to me. I’m just floored.
Having now read the script adds a whole new layer to the characters, what they’re thinking and feeling. iykyk.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get in a fourth or fifth viewing before my schedule gets crazy again..

This iteration of Nosferatu instantly joins the list of my favourite movies.
It was more than I hoped
His voice alone is ingrained into my brain, I think that's why I went to see it a second time. Not only for the wonderful cinematography and storyline...but his voice.
This is stunning artwork though...yeah I'll shut up now.
