I always thought maturity was something that happened to everyone at the same rate. Turns out you’re in charge of how much progress you accumulate. So just because someone is older than you doesn’t mean they’re anywhere near as responsible, professional or empathetic as you are. Its all based on life experiences and whither or not you choose to grow from them.
