one of the best things about hadestown is that because it’s a cyclical story technically.... TECHNICALLY....... every au is some sort of canon

things that happened during hadestown today (edition one probably bc i cannot remember all at once. these are the softer things):

- during living it up on top, when persephone has her arm around eurydice, eva made the funniest face at the line about the weather and then amber booped her nose.

- in way down hadestown, orpheus and eurydice walked over to the stool and she pushed him to sit down on it and kissed his cheek. then he sat down and she was leaning against him and whispered something and he was like what? and she repeated it (i think) and he did this very tender lil trailing his hand up his arm and then kissing her cheek thing.

- eva did So Many high kicks during the first act and they were all amazing. she was also super smiley it was sweet.

- reeve sprinted around the stage and i was so scared he was gonna fall. he did not.

- khaila was on today and she and john were hugging during the second act at one point twas sweet.

- when orpheus and eurydice were hugging during the bit were seph and hades dance, she was holding his suspender aw.

- in way down hadestown after orpheus and eurydice were lying down, reeve’s hair was sticking straight up and eva started laughing.

- in road to hell, when hades and persephone are playing the game, amber went to go and patrick was like ??? it’s my move and they were both grinning.

for my bday im going to ny and im gonna see hadestown and beetlejuice and moulin rouge and yeah, maybe im gonna cry at all three. what about it. also very excited bc i saw beetlejuice and moulin rouge in dc and boston respectively so im so so excited to see the broadway changes ahhhhhh

saw the prom last night and while it’s not really my kind of musical, it SHOULD NOT be closing. the performers are all amazing and the story is sweet and it is hilarious and it’s a solid show all around. i’ve never been attached to it but after talking with people who love the show it’s so clear how much it means to them and it deserved so much better.

I know the hadestown cast members are like, professional theatre actors and shit, but personally I don't think I could ever be on stage during road to hell II and be in character cuz i start crying everytime the music kicks in during that song
