Portraits of perseverance and patience. 1-3) P31 Wannabe. Named our group after the virtuous woman of Proverb 31. These ladies have been my solid support to stay sane in Andrews. 4) Mother and daughter. My Brazilian neighbours who’ve been my family. 5-6) Tablemates . New found friends composed of Haitians, Filipinos, Mexicans and Swedish 7) Roommates. Stoked to learn more of Sweden’s culture thru one of them. And two cheerful women from Jamaica. 8) Young Pastors’ Wives. Grateful to know these beautiful and talented and Mexican ladies. I really appreciate the diversity of this group. I’ve met so much more representing different countries of the world. Seminary Spouses in Ministry Retreat | March 2-4 Meeting and getting to know fellow ministers’ wives the past weekend has given me a different perspective of my role as a ministry partner. I am reminded of how sacred our calling is and encouraged to give my best to the One who called us. 1-3) Powerful resources to keep us going in this ministry. 4) Courageous, cheerful and culturally-diverse bunch of women of God. 5) Outstanding and organized officers with the guest speaker, Melody Mason. 6) United in prayer as we serve with our respective spouses in ministry. Now that I am part of this network, I feel more determined to continue on with my calling. I know for sure that someone understands my struggles,fears and burdens. Tagged along today as Tía (Aunt in Spanish) to these adorable kiddos in Chicago before dropping off their real Tía to the airport. 1-2) Beautiful buildings and the streets of downtown Chicago 3-4) I need to learn from this little girl Hannah on how to be fabulous and fashionable like her! 5-7) Hannah and her friends in the LEGO Store. 8) Gabriel with his light saber. 9) Genius looking horse and cow in front of the Chicago Sports Museum 10) Baby Seth all smiles throughout our trip. I’ve been babysitting these kids over a month now out of charitable acts. It’s been a privilege to assist their Mama and learn from her in terms of parenting. My character is being built spending time with them although they are the most chill and well- behaved children I’ve met! Today’s another monument of God’s grace and mercy to me and my husband. We had a different purpose going to Indiana today but ended up spending a meaningful and delightful time together. 1-2) Catching the sunrise on our way to IN 3) Dining at Olive Garden for the first time. 4) Eggplant Pargianna sandwich with fries (will order it again) 5) Unlimited pasta (comes with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks -not in the photos) 6-7) Driving through the scenic route plus YOLOing (RJay opted not to use GPS going back to Andrews) Pouting and blaming yourself over spilled milks are easier to do than to trust God with His perfect plans for us yet facing mishaps maturely and positively is the better way to help us grow in faith and as a person generally. #lifelessons #rzadventures #olivegarden #nature #sunrise #springiscoming

My family in Berrien Springs. Rare Sabbath that we intentionally take our picture together. We see each other in church, potlucks, birthdays or even shopping trips but forget to snap photos because we are engrossed in our conversations and laughters esp when you have these wonderful and witty kiddos in your midst. Knowing your loved one’s primary love languages and filling up their love bank is key to a healthy relationship. My husband’s top 2 are physical touch and acts of service.
