Kenzie could tell this wasn’t his thing she was just appreciative that he was nice, and that he was doing this for her. Sure he was getting paid, but e still didn’t have to do this.”Really?” She looked to him “What do you do in the lab?” she asked curiously. As he walked her through she smiled and nodded her head. First edition she couldn’t even fathom what they might have in there. “I…I would love that.” One might say she lit up like a Christmas tree.

“By the way, uhm thanks for doing this tour thing, I know you probably didn’t have to. But still..thanks.”

"Work on homework and just mess around." He smiles because to be honest, working at the computer or in the engineering labs or just wherever he could get his hands dirty was where he was happiest. Doing what he loved. He led her to the bank of elevators to go to the top floor to check on these first editions. "I've never been up there, but I know it's recommended  I'm in no ways an English major."

"It's my job, actually. And like I said, it's my first one..." He pauses for a moment before smiling at her. "And so far, I think the company is making it not as bad as I thought."

"Least terrible? Shit, I’d hate to be you." She laughed, shaking her head. "Heh. 100 yards. Right. Pretty sure I’m just going to completely abstain from all guys once I get over my own guy problems, so. Plenty of ways? Elaborate." She raised her eyebrows, curiously. "God, that sounded perverted. But if it really calms your hormones and if you fix my phone, then I’ll gladly snag a picture for you." She joked, letting out a sigh. "Just a cracked screen? You make it sound easy. I thought I had to go to some phone company to get it fixed? How much are you charging?"

"Most people would. But I like it. Keeps things exciting." He's full of shit but he doesn't know any different. Might as well get a roll with the punches attitude. "Yeah. 100 yards. Depends on what kind of damage you wanna cause. We talkin' physical, emotional or psychological? I can help with all of the above." He laughs as she seems to acquiescence his little fantasy. "Hand it over." He holds his hand out for the damaged phone. "I'm kind of a tech guy. I should have the stuff to fix it back at my place. I fix shit like this for extra cash all the time. How 'bout 20 bucks? That's pretty much just the cost of materials."

"No that’s fine. Nice to meet you Lip." she smiled and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. She followed him her eyes wandering around the school. She was also a cirious person wanting to see and learn thing. "Maybe biology, or chemistry. Even English is was I’m looking to study." she told him when he said he didn’t know what she wanted to study.

She knew he didn’t ask, but she thought she’d put it out there in case there was any information to be shared about on of those subjects at the school. “Oh, good coffee is great to have on campus.” she smiled as she walked through the doors. “Thank you.”

"Cool. So.. uh.. I guess there's not too much to see in a library besides the fact that there's books and coffee." He laughs as he's a bit out of his element. "There's a computer lab right through there. But most people get laptops or some shit like that. You'll probably find me in the lab more times than not." Because Lip doesn't get a laptop. He's lucky he affords the meal plan.

He leads her through the building's first floor and towards the back of the building. "Anything you wanna see in here? If you decide on English, there's a lot of first editions of stuff up on the top floor. I've never been but I hear it's cool."

"Hm. Understandable. I mean I’m pretty sure I have an old and fat Unle Phil somewhere." She grinned softly. She fiddled with her fingers, while listening to him respond to her series of unfortunate events. "Wait, your ex-girlfriend slept with your Dad…and then put it…online?" She scrunched her face up into one of disgust. "Heh. My abilities. Can’t say that I agree with you on that since the only practice I got to enhance my quote on quote abilities was with a banana at my best friend’s sleepover in seventh grade. I guess you’re right about the dog shit and the bad grade. Also one thousand percent correct on my Dad being a dick. Non taken." She snapped her head back at him once he asked about the sorority girls. "Right because my knee jerk reaction to seeing two of my sorority sisters basically participating in their own version of Jerry Springer was to video tape it. So, no." she rolled her eyes, sighing. "Wait, how can you even fix my phone screen?"

"Exactly!" He laughs before shrugging his shoulders as she seems completely disgusted with his life experience. "That's one of the least terrible things to happen in my life. No big." He watches her with a raised brow. "Pretty sure there's plenty of guys within about 100 yards that would gladly let you test your skills on them. As for your dad, there's plenty of ways to get back at him." He chuckled quietly at her sharp attitude. "Well, remember next time. At least take a picture at your next pillow fight. And yes, I can easily fix your phone. It's just a cracked screen."

Awkward Encounters

He was going to get her fired. He was going to get her fucking fired, making a fucking scene like that. Mandy could have killed him. The fucking nerve to come in here and act like that. Like he could do whatever he wanted to her and she would just have to let him.

Still, she could hardly deny him information about his brother. Or, she could’ve, but she would’ve felt like shit about it.

"Meet me out front," she told him, and then she ducked into the kitchen to tell her manager she was taking her break and grab her coat. Mandy met Lip outside soon enough, even if she did briefly consider disappearing out the back door. She sat on the concrete curb, lit a cigarette. "What do you want?"

He gave her a thankful nod before making his way to the front door. He waited out front. Taking out a smoke because his nerves were frayed as fuck. Being around Mandy never used to do this to him but fuck, lately, it was kinda crazy. He didn't know if she was gonna punch him or look through him. Sadly, punching him was something he preferred. Something he'd been used to. Not the recent cold shoulder. 

"Ian. He's fucked up and I can't get my way over to your place to see him because of..." He trails off. She knows why. Her nine foot fuckin' asshole boyfriend was always around. "I was hoping you could help me."

As he asked if she was ready she nodded her head. “Yeah.” His following words made her laugh. “Will do, I’ll pretend it didn’t even happen.” she smiled. “What was your name again?” She asked softly trying not to come off as a rude person. “I just figured, I should know your name at least or something.” she chewed her lower lip.

She was getting a bit nervous again her nerves kicking her ass as she tried to not let them get the best of her. But this college was her only shot out of her own personal hell. She had to make a good impression and stop being so scared of everything.

"Lip. Sorry. I don't even remember if I said it or not." He pulls the strap of his messenger bag higher up his shoulder. His fingers itch to grab another cigarette from his pocket but he refrains. Making his way with her towards the first stop on the tour. He hardly wanted to go to college himself so this is going to be a bunch of bullshit. Good thing he was a good liar.

"So, I don't know what you plan to study but this is pretty much somewhere everyone eventually finds themselves. They have some pretty good coffee on the first floor too." He holds one of the double doors open for her. The words that leave his lips actually sounds like he knows what he's doing.

"Ah. I got it." She nodded, grinning softly. "I thought Phil was the more conventional choice?" She pondered, cutting her eyes to him. "Ha. Maybe. Fine, fine. Don’t judge me or laugh, okay?" She pointed a finger at him, before inhaling. "So. At the beginning of the day, I went into my sorority sisters dorm room to drop off cupcakes for a fundraiser we’re doing only to find her giving my boyfriend to what seemed like the best blowjob of all time- according to his face, of course. Then, after leaving in a rage, I tripped and am now pretty sure I sprained my left wrist, stepped in dog shit, got a D on my philasophy paper, found out my Dad had an affair, saw two of my soririty sisters beat the shit out of eachother and to top it all off, I cracked the screen on my iPhone." She responded all in one breath, pulling out her phone to show him.

"Phil sounds like an old fat dude. Lip is better. Don't question it." He chuckles as he speaks before listening intently to her story. One fuck up after another and even he's a little shocked by it. Considering his own life is just one major fuckin' mess, she's at least tied with him for shit to deal with. At least he gets his through out his lifetime and not just all in one day. "Well.... shit. That's pretty fucked. And that's a lot coming from me considering my ex-girlfriend slept with my dad and posted it online." He looks down at her wrist and notices that it is slightly swollen. "I can attest that pretty much every blow job is the best blow job. So don't doubt your abilities just because he looked like he was havin' fun. Stepping in dog shit's not that bad. And getting a D on one paper is easily remedied by just getting higher grades on the rest. Your dad kinda sounds like a dick. No offense. And did you happen to get video of the smackdown between sorority sisters? Cause that shit sounds kinda hot. .. Oh. And I can fix your phone screen."

Her eyes wandered around. This was a nice school she only ever heard good things about it, she hopped after the tour around the place she’d be able to get in. Feeling a tap on her shoulder she looked up to the person. Standing up she gave a small smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, that’s me." she said softly and held her hand out to shake his own. "Kenize Stevens..Pleasure to meet you." She said. He didn’t seems like a bad guy, but he didn’t seem like a good guy either. She wasn’t exactly good at reading people.

"You ready to get started? Not gonna lie. This is my first one on one tour so if I fuck up, we'll just ignore it." He realizes after the words leave his lips that it probably wasn't a good idea to swear in front of prospective students. But it's not like he's edited himself before. Maybe they'll just put him back in the kitchen.

He chuckles before moving forward and nodding towards the library. "Let's get started huh?" Lip wouldn't mind Kenzie choosing his school. Considering she was really hot.

Kenzie wouldn’t lie she was a bit nervous to be on the tour of the campus today. Meeting new people wasn’t something she was rather fond of, and she hopped that her and whoever would be giving the tour to her had something in common. Maybe the person liked Biology, or chemistry?

Hopefully something in the field she hopped. It would give them a standing ground. Once she was at the school she got a bit lost finding the place she’d be waiting in. But once she was there she sat and waited for the tour to start she was a few minutes early but she didn’t mind too much.

Lip looked at his watch before watching as a younger girl took a seat on a bench. He didn't have a picture or anything but he'd bet money that was Kenzie. She was young and not weighed down with a back pack. She even looked a little lost. Lip snuffed out his cigarette on the brick building behind him before dropping it.

He moved forward, towards the younger girl. Tapping her shoulder before stepping back. "You, uh," he looks down at the paper in his hands, "Kenzie?"

"Lip? That’s your name? Well, I’ve officially seen it all." She knitted her eyebrows together, chuckling. She contemplated whether she really wanted to let some kid she had never even met before hear about her day. Eh. Why not? She sighed, shrugging. "If I do, will you write it off as first world, white girl problems?" She turned to the boy, laughing.

"Phil-lip." He states with an over-enunciation to display why it's become his nickname. Raising his brow at her with a chuckle of his own as he lights his cigarette. He half wished she'd just spit it out already so he could tell her to buck the fuck up. "Nah. Just let me have it. Who knows. Maybe it's something I can help with."

Shit. Lip wasn't into this whole tour shit but it was better than the hair net gig. He leaned back against the brick wall of the student center and took a drag from his cigarette. He looked at his watch and sighed. Yeah. Lot better than the hair net. But Lip didn't exactly have the best people skills. He looked at the sheet of paper that his new boss had given him.

Kenzie Stevens. 

Okay. Apparently she was a senior and needed the tour of the campus and was possibly leaning towards what Lip himself was studying. So.. they put the two of them together.

"Your contribution to the world? Caring for the well being and downfall of angry sorority girls all over the country. Well aren’t you a Saint." She responded flatly, letting out a sigh. "Smiling. Right. You obviously don’t know sorority’s then. The smiling and shit gets old about after a month. Then girls start screwing each other’s boyfriends and everything just gets to be like some trashy reality show." She bitterly laughed, staring at the pack cigarettes he pulled out. "Look. Sorry. Today… sucked. Forget I was a Debbie Downer. I’m Belle." She took a deep breath in, extending her hand to the boy.

Lip couldn't help but chuckle as she seemed just a bit high strung. He puts a smoke between his lips before pocketing the others. He reaches a hand out when she does, taking it with a shake. "I'm Lip. Gallagher." Once he releases her hand, he leans back, that smile still on his lips. "Wanna talk about it?"
