yeah ended up gettin n playin the vergils downfall dlc and lmao if nothin else i appreciate theyre commitment to surf dracula-ing the spardy boys hair, had to play a whole dlc for vergil to get his spiked back do
tho tbh dont like it lmao, looks like a bargain bin super saiyan lmaooo their first interpretation of it he started with kinda works better, the whole combed back thing, dantes white hair tho looks gr8 its a nice contrast to the grungeyness of the rest of his aesthetic
enough about hair, good dlc had fun, kinda crazy this the first time we get an actual vergil campaign with more than 2 new cutscenes and in a cool lil artystyle, tho i get it mainlines gameplay is so good it can carry givin u just a lil story lmao
as for story did kinda fuck with origin story-ing the why of this ver of vergils obsession with power and rejected all his family except his father lmao still alas wont really see what else was planned ahh well
so i guess thats a goodbye to DmC reboot, idk i was expecting worse cuz of how people talked about it so was pleasantly surprised that i had fun lmao, probably also cuz im in the future and knew this wouldn't replace the mainline so didnt go into the game angry or anything, anyway dmc 5 on the wayšāš½
ok went ahead n tested new rig out by goin ahead n finishin the DmC reboot lmao hmm ending wise im ngl a lil unsatisfied lmao well gameplay wise mostly with the mundus fight, had a lot more fun with the vergil fight, actually really enjoyed the gameplay in general
yeah def more an action platformer, tho the vault door level did show us a lil of what theyd do if they did actual puzzles which was fun lmao, admittedly i suspect this game is easier than the mainline series, i mean look at my scores lmao aint no way i woulda done those in the mainline series
which is why i was probably unsatisfied with the mundus fight, felt like their other giant enemies had real good tells of where n' how to avoid their attacks mundus didnt, also a lil hmm char wise, for some reason felt like his speech about how humans were cruel n violent n how he kept order didnt really work? tbh i can sorta see how thatd fit, he has prisons, and propaganda and consumerism, but idk the dialogue of it felt weird, like trying to force a parallel between him n vergil
idk maybe i need to think on it more gut feeling kinda wishes they just went full demon ham
oh also yeah theory was wrong lmaooo this was the real vergil, damn in my head space thought i figured it out, one of the teleporting ninja enemies was the real vergil, the one we have is actually a spy made by mundus, would be a reinterpretation of nelo angelo and trish being a clone of eva

i do mean that in an endearing way btw like it made me laugh while i was having fun fighting him, i do think the ideas they were going for vergil and dante were neat, subversions and flipping in all lmao but idk dont think we spent enough time with vergil for me to completely buy it but ngl still interested enough that i kinda do wanna know what they had planned,alas that probably would have meant no more mainline and yeah wouldnt have wanted that either lmao am tempted to play the uh vergil dlc tho before jumping straight into dmc 5, just to know i got all i could outta this story

I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the rescheduled Mass Lobby at Parliament, now on Wed Sept 9th, 1pm-5pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.
The law around trans equality is fundamentally broken. Government inaction is hanging trans people and organisations out to dry - with a con
The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It became statutory guidance in the UK on August 5th, 2026.
Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or donāt pass too well.
A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Our demands have changed. Ask your MP to:
Write to Ministers and Prime Minister Andy Burnham to say they are profoundly concerned by the rolling back of trans rights, and that they believe that it is time for Parliament to legislate to protect equality for trans people.
Ask parliamentary questions focused on protecting trans peopleās rights and defending trans peopleās abilities to live safe and dignified lives.
Speak up both inside and outside Parliament in defence of trans peopleās rights.
Meet regularly with trans constituents to understand their lived realities.Ā
Your MP does not have to be an ally, they do not have to respond to your email for you to show up and greencard them (details below the cut.) What matters is that as many people as possible show up.
I cannot stress this enough: Showing up in person matters. It is much more effective than petitions, emails, and letters.
We have already had some wins because we took action. The 2026 EHRC guidance has already rolled back its most harmful elements because of mass campaigning by individuals like us, and groups like The Good Law Project. This summer, 166 MPs signed the Early Day Motion 240 to reject the EHRC Code of Practice, because of our campaigning. That is 1 in 4 MPs.
It is a horrible, stressful time, and I am so sorry if you're trans and live in the UK. But I was at last year's mass lobby and the line for greencarding alone stretched around the back gates. It was a record breaking mass lobby and made us impossible to ignore. Let's do even better this time. Details under the cut:

Bring your personal worries about transphobia being signed into law, and trans friends being excluded from public spaces. You are a living person who deserves dignity. Remind your MP of that. Got a refusal or no response from your MP?Ā
Come anyway! You can request a same-day appointment with your MP through a process called greencarding. They will come and see you if theyāre already in Parliament. Even if they donāt, theyāre made acutely aware of your cause because you showed up in person. This is my greencard from last year.
Here is the EHRC Code of Practice in full. It's a tough read, but some highlights are:
Organisations canāt provide trans-inclusive, single-sex services, or they risk being sued for discrimination. e.g. domestic violence support for women including trans women, menās rugby group including trans men (12.68).
Trans people will have nowhere safe to pee. If youāre a trans man, businesses can't allow you to pee in the men's, and you can also be ejected from womenās bathrooms if youāre perceived as a man. Vice versa for trans women. EHRC suggests a āthird spaceā bathroom, which is discriminatory and unworkable for most businesses. (13.130-133)
Sports organisations must exclude trans people from single-sex competitions (13.73).Ā A womenās only sports competition must exclude trans women because of their biological advantage or face potential lawsuits (13.74), but a trans man who has undergone testosterone treatment can also be excluded based on fairness rules (13.81).
Trans women are stripped of the legal definition of ālesbianā, and therefore no longer have legal protections if theyāre discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation. (2.50, 2.92).
