Something was incredibly off and it was taunting her. She needed to find out to sate this curiosity.  And then came the funny expressions remark. “I’ll make your face look funny if you keep me waiting for my beverage, kid.”

"That little green weirdo is pretty great, actually," Bill replied. "He's got a weak heart, and it's oh so fun to coerce him to do what I please. Plus, he has the ability to seriously injure me. Mmm, that would be so much fun. I should blackmail him into causing some wounds."

He looked pensive for a moment. "Beverage... beverage... oh! You asked me for something, didn't you? Sorry, it was of such little consequence it already slipped my mind."

{✿} Laughter? Surely this boy must be a psychopath. Mandy disliked psychopaths. They were illogical. And this, this laughter was illogical. She hated it. However, Mandy bit back the urge to completely knock his teeth out, and humored the stranger’s question. "I am always this angry. I was born this way. But if you find me hilarious, you need to seek help.” She’s had enough of laughter. Every time someone laughed, it reminded her of Billy, and his obnoxious giggling. Laughter pissed her off. "Now get me that soda before I get my pet Reaper to send you to the bottomless void."

"Soda? What soda?" It had been such a small request that Bill had already forgotten about it.

"Pet Reaper -- oh! I know who you are." He clasped his hands together with the joy of a small child discovering ice cream for the first time. "You're that Mandy human who enslaved the Grim Reaper or something! The little bespectacled green lad with the weak will and scary tentacles told me about you." Right, she had said something else, hadn't she? "Human anger is a riot! You guys make such funny expressions when you're raging. C'mon, make a funny face or something, it's what I live for."

Oh. Right. Of course Bill would know that stuff. Ahahaha…

"Those aren’t the kinds of games that I mean." He wasn’t even going to get into the spirit alcohol thing. The last spirit food Bill had given him had turned out to be some weird glue trap. Alcohol was way out of the question.  

"Look, Bill. You’re an all powerful mind demon, and I’m a twelve year old kid. I can’t really compete with you in most cases, and even here, I’d probably still be at a disadvantage. But, hey, who knows? You can’t even get yourself up off the ground, can you? I would think that the Master of the Mind would have better concentration than that.”

"How about I make a bet with you here? If you can concentrate enough to carry out like, five tasks without letting on that you’re drunk, I’ll give you my journal. And uh, you can jump off the roof. As many times as you want. But if you lose, then you have to give me my body back and leave. Sounds like a pretty simple challenge, right?"

"Aw, Pine Tree, you... hic... you flatter me. Could it be you have a thing for me after all?" The thought was so absurd that Bill couldn't help but chuckle. "Or maybe you're secretly a narcissist... ahaha... I know... I make you look so much more dapper than usual... Dapper Dipper... Dipper Dapper... but at the end of the day, you're... hic... you're still just a doughy human baby..." Words. They were a thing that was hard to string together in this current state.

"Sure, whatever, I'll make a bet with you." Bill grinned. "But, haha... you do know that you're just betting against yourself, right? I mean... the reason for my current... bubbly feeling is because your body is too weak to handle human alcohol. Hic. So technically, you're the one who's drunk, too... all I'm saying, kid... is that..." Gosh, he was shaking really hard. Gotta take a moment to compose myself. "Even sober, I'd find a way to loophole my way out of this one. Currently, I feel like a rocket ship... shooting off into the ether... the point is, I could make up a million more excuses. The imagination... the possibilities are... hic... endless."

It was hard to get across your point when your mind was going in twenty directions at once. "Forget the journal... and forget your body... how about... just the other stuff? I'll do your puny human tasks... and if I lose... I won't throw your body off the roof. That's as much as you're gettin' outta me right now, kid."

"...Mm, whatever." The girl was radiating a bizarre and possibly nonhuman aura, but it wasn't threatening, so Bill didn't care.

A thought occurred to him. "Hey, you haven't seen, oh, I dunno, a book with the number 3 on the cover lying around anywhere in these woods, have you?" If she was here inconveniently, might as well try to enlist her help. Ah, Bill. Always turning miserable situations to your advantage. I'm so proud of me.

"Wait, you want my thoughts on this?" Mabel was to stunned to even think. "I…well…" she started, but she was still flustered by what Dipper just said, she couldn’t come up with anything. Mabel gave her head a shake trying to think of something useful, "Maybe if we…I dunno…" Mabel was truly stuck, Dipper rarely ever asked for her advice, so she was at a loss at the moment.

[✍] F a c e p a l m. Now Bill is just being incredibly wishy-washy. Oh, how he pictured him slapping around a faceless man named Bill Cipher with glee. He loathed Bill. But he was no better or worse than Mandy, and he liked Mandy. Suppose it must be the circumstances in how they met that made him so angry. "Yes, the Grim Reaper," he murmured behind his own hand that covered his face from the earlier facepalm, before running it down his own face. "My cousin and Mandy, his friend, enslaved him somehow— Look, if you don’t like talking to me, then go away before I actually—-” An idea came to mind, and flashbacks of Winter Camp flooded his very thoughts. Of how he froze everyone in Winter Camp into a stasis and let them freeze in the cold. His grin turned wide, and devilish. "Hey… Are you interested in seeing what other abilities I possess? I assure you, that they will surprise even an eternal being like you.”

"Sounds like a real freakshow you've got going back home," Bill sneered. "Although, maybe I would like this Mandy character of yours after all. Enslaving others -- well, that sounds like my kind of fun."

He perked up, his curiosity continuing to escalate. "Ooh, goody, you're gonna put on a show for me? Excellent. Just remember not to try anything funny! After all, it'll take a whole darn lot to get me to evacuate this lame body. And pain makes me giddy. So if you want to hurt me senselessly, by all means, go ahead."

And he did not know whom she was. Crossing her arms over her own chest, Mandy demanded “You. Kid. Grab me a soda. None of that dark crap, either. Sprite. And don’t look at me like that or I’ll pluck them out.” How rude, demanding. And powerful in more ways than one.

 "..." Bill couldn't help it, he started to laugh. "Ahahahaha -- oh man, I can already tell you're gonna be too much. Too much." He wiped away one tear from his eyes. Man, humans were usually so boring, but the ones that were interesting were priceless.

"I like you already. You seem like a riot. What's your deal, huh? What made you this angry? I wanna know so I can make every other person as angry and hilarious as you are."

[✍] Now that, he wasn’t buying! Junior narrowed his eyes and spoke with sarcasm dribbling from between his sharp teeth. “Yes, I’ll take your advice. You really do care for Dipper, that’s why you stole his body, held a knife to his own heart, and… Mentioned you’ll date me in his place.” Junior was always the paranoid type. “Whatever. I’ll ask the grim reaper what it is the next time I see my cousin.” Oh how he wanted to crawl in Dipper’s head and just ruin whatever possessed him.

"Care for Dipper? Oh no no, you misunderstand. All I'm saying is, from an objective point of view, it'd be better for him. Which makes a better case for what I'm trying to do. Do I care about the little twerp? Absolutely not."

"Oh?" Bill clasped his hands together, curious. "The Grim Reaper? Now that's interesting. Tell me more about that, so I don't get sick of talking to you as I stand here."
