Pia：I don't think there's anything sexier than a woman fencing. When I got this role in the Netherlands, I accepted it on the condition that I would also have a fencing scene—it was important to me, and it was even written into my contract. I also think that in the series, when you see a woman doing the same thing among all those men, it's very compelling. I love that—it conveys a sense of power.

What I see here in his face is hope. That a mortal like Sarah could love him for what he is. Steve’s wife Denny once gave an interview and said that he took the role of von Krolock seriously instead of making him a figure of fun or pure horror. I think this photo exemplifies that.
