as sylvanas and the others traversed through the maze, they took the opportunity to get to know one another -- inquiries about one anotherâs origins, about one otherâs powers, those sorts of questions. sylvanas had nearly ditched her âweaponâ at this point, as it was just a rolled up poster and she didnât find it necessary, but she figured it must have been given to her for a reason.
turning throughout all different corridors and using various maze-traversing tips to help them through, the three come to a door. and as they had learned in the very beginning before even being put into the labyrinth, doors may lead to the end of the maze. so the banshee queen took the lead, as she is wont to do, and pushed the door open while looking towards her teammates. and because she was not watching where she was stepping, she immediately fell face-first into the ball pit that coated the entire floor. the dark lady would âswimâ her way back up to the top so she could see her teammates still standing in the doorway.
â this is what the headmistress had meant when she said âchallengesâ, then. â she shook her head and hoisted herself back up onto the platform the door was seated on, and looked across the way. â there appears to be a door over there. i ask that you two stay here and look around for anything of importance while i investigate.â
and as she said she would, sylvanas got back into the ball pit and made her way to the other end, climbing up onto the small platform that that door was on. as she stepped closer and closer to the door, she noticed a small lock just below the doorknob. a sigh heaved from her chest, and her shoulders sunk slightly. she turned back around and called across the sea of plastic spheres, â itâs locked. there must be a key somewhere. â
