I just wanted to thank everyone for all the support yesterday ; it warmed my heart to see everyone help me and confront the person - they haven’t acknowledged their wrong doing and the fic is still up + they have stated it’s a “shared account” which I do not believe. “Hello my love, I’m sorry to do this to you but.. I need to cancel our date today. I’m really sorry.” Sachio sighs to himself gently as he listens to the voicemail for the millionth time, his legs crossed as he hunches over — his eyes glued to his phone, wishing she’d text him and say why. But, it doesn’t seem like she is - considering that voicemail was sent over an hour ago.

“Y/n..” he begins, “I can’t figure out what’s bothering her. No one is messing with her, she’s caught up on her school work, she’s bought something new — I can’t figure it out.” Yuken looks to the other three, his brows furrowed, “Have you asked her?” Sachio nods, “She said she was fine ; and I knew she wasn’t.” Eimei steps forward, hoping to offer support : “Maybe she doesn’t feel well, Sachio ; that’s why she’s cancelled?”
Sachio hums, thinking before shaking his head, “I would know if she was ill.” The four of them fall silent, feeling a tad helpless on what to do to help their leader, and great friend. “Why don’t you go check on her? Or, has she said she doesn’t want you to go over?” Shojii adds, hoping that his words will help ; “I texted her but, she hasn’t answered - she’s left me on read.”
Sachio stands abruptly, a new found determination found on his face : “I will be back soon.” Yuken stands and steps back, giving Sachio room to walk away - Eimei steps out of Sachio’s way and they watch as his back retreats down the hallway ; they look to each other, worried for them both.
“Do you think.. he thinks he’s done something wrong?” Sabakan, who seems to have appeared out of no where, says after a few minutes of silence ; Yuken hums, thinking to himself. “He might do…” grabbing his phone from his pocket : Yuken scrolls to Y/n’s contact and presses on their chat, laughing to himself faintly at the last texts they exchanged.

Normally, she would answer a few seconds after Yuken had texted her ; knowing how quick would they worry about her. But, she hasn’t, which means something really is wrong with Y/n. “Well, she hasn’t answered me.” He sighs, looking away from his phone to look to the four of them. “Leave Sachio to sort her out — he knows he better than any of us combined.” Shida comments, feeling uneasy with the whole thing.
Yuken looks down to his phone again to see she’s read it, but hasn’t replied. Huh, I wonder what’s with her? Yuken thinks to himself before putting his phone in his pocket again. “Yeah, best we should..”

Sachio, after standing outside Y/n’s house for over nine minutes and thirty six seconds, decides to walk up to her front door and knock ; hoping she or her mother opens the door. However, no one does —leaving him to use the key Y/n had made for him when their relationship grew stronger. He sticks the key in the keyhole and turns it, unlocking the door.
As he walks inside, Sachio quickly clocks on at how.. cold and unwelcoming it feels.. his brows furrow in a worrisome manner and — after taking his shoes off — makes his way further into the house. Sachio makes a quick sweep to make sure no one unwelcome is in her house — and turns his path to the stairs. The dark stairway and small upstairs hallway make the nerves swirl around in his stomach ; Sachio reaches Y/n’s bedroom door and listens for any noise, any ruffles or voices — yet, there are none. He opens the door gently, the dark room greeting him and he steps inside ; looking around for anything out of the ordinary — and yet again, there are none.
Sachio looks to her bed and sees a lump in there. He feels a relief wash over him and a weight he didn’t know was there, blow away like a leaf in the wind. He walks towards the bed and gently lifts the covers away ; her sleeping face gracing his eyes and calming his nerves even more. Sachio breathes a sigh of relief and strokes her cheek softly, wondering if he should wake her or not — he decides against it and instead walks around the other side and slips into it ; bringing her into his embrace and holding her tightly and securely.
Y/n snuggles into him, her hand coming up to grip his classic tiger white shirt in her hand ; he kisses the top of her head lovingly, letting her presence calm his soul. He looks to the bedroom door, trying to think of things as to why she’s like this. She isn’t cold or too hot, he thinks, so she isn’t sick.. Sachio looks back down at her, taking in her features ; even after the four years they’ve been together, he still can’t get enough of the face he’s came to love so dearly. Sachio may have been the last to fall in love, but he certainly swept her off her feet and showed her unconditional love — love even he didn’t know he was capable of.
Sachio decides to give his over and obsessive thinking a break ; deciding instead to fall into a light sleep with her in his arms. Her warmth letting him know she’s there, and hasn’t moved.

Y/n inhales deeply, her legs stretching before she snuggles into her pillow again. Feeling a strong sense of longing for Sachio — so much so, it seems she’s imagined her pillow is him. “Are you awake?” Her eyes shoot open at her lovers’ raspy voice, Y/n looks up at Sachio and feels tears gather in her eyes ; regardless of the dark room, Sachio is completely zoned in on her and notices the shift in her mood. “What’s wrong?” He brings his hand up to wipe her tears away gently, his touch soft and warm — causing the tears to fall more freely.
She leans up to rest her face in his warm neck, inhaling that intoxicating smell of his as her tears wet his skin ; Y/n wraps her arms around him around and he instantly returns the gesture. She swallows the lump in her throat that prevents her from speaking and, with a shaky breath, begins speaking : “I’m sorry..” she whispers, her sad tone stabbing at Sachio’s heart.
Sachio frowns, “Sorry? You don’t need to be sorry.” He offers her comfort, stroking her back as he listening to her trying to calm her breathing - “I..I cancelled our date… an.. a-an ignored you.” The slight whiney crack that rises in her throat makes him hold her tighter, knowing how hard she’s trying to hold back her tears. “You don’t need to be sorry about that, love.” He shushes her, not wanting her to blame herself for it. Y/n keeps quiet, just letting his touch soothe her ; she feels another sleepy spell threatening to take her, due to how relaxed she currently feels with him against her.
“Don’t you ever be sorry for that.” He mumbles, shifting her so she’s laying in between his legs - her body completely resting on him. “What’s made you so sad?” Sachio questions softly, not wanting to trigger anything ; she sighs, “I..” and yawns gently, “I just.. woke up not feeling so great about myself..” Y/n sniffles, feeling quite pathetic — “Nothing was going right.. my hair wouldn’t do what I wanted it too.. my clothes just.. didn’t feel right, and my makeup, no matter what I did, didn’t look good on me.”
Her sniffling turns to soft crying — all of her sudden and overwhelming emotions crashing down on her, which she just wanted to sleep away. Sachio sits up, bringing Y/n to sit on his lap and forcing her to look at him with a gentle nudge of his finger : “A bad day?” She nods, “Terrible day.” Sachio hums, thinking for a moment, “We’ll stay inside then. Our date can be relaxing. We.. can watch movies together and do whatever you want.” Y/n looks at Sachio’s soft and warm looking face, hiccuping as tears falls again.
“I don’t deserve you,” she cries, wrapping her arms around him - Sachio laughs softly, “Yes you do.” He soothes “Go and get a shower, and I’ll make us some food. Okay?” Y/n nods at him, planting a kiss on his cheek before getting off of him. Sachio watches as Y/n makes her way into her bathroom, leaving the door slightly ajar ; before getting out of the bed and making it for her — knowing the sheets are clean. Seeing as he was here the day she changed them.
Sachio makes his way down stairs and into the kitchen ; a small hum vibrating in his throat. The shower running faintly from upstairs catches his attention, he smiles when an idea pops into his head.

As Sachio finishes placing the food on the table, Y/n makes her way downstairs and into the kitchen ; her fluffy looking hair a tell tail sign that she’s blown it. She looks to the food on the table and smiles softly at Sachio, “You didn’t need to make my favourite..”
Sachio shakes his head, “Nonsense.” Y/n walks over to him and wraps her arms around him, kissing his cheek and smiling bright ; He feels his heart lighten up at her bright smile, knowing she’s already feeling better than before.
Y/n sits down in her chair and Sachio sits in front of her, watching as she enjoys the food he’s prepared for her ; loving the joyful expressions. “Sachio,” She grins shyly, “don’t give me those eyes.” He raises an eyebrow, “What look?”
“That look…” she mumbles, a blush coating her cheeks, “It always makes me shy.” Sachio can’t help the small chuckle that falls from his lips, his own grin stretching his cheeks. “I apologise Angel.” that nickname he gave her a year into dating, still to this day, always makes butterflies explode in her stomach.
“I..I remember you said you bought something the other day - what was it?” He asks, “It was new makeup! I saw it in a catalog the other week, they brought it out the day I bought it. It’s so cute Sachio!” She gushes, remembering the joy she felt when buying the adorable packaging. “You will have to let me do your makeup one day sachio, with your face and bone structure — you’d look so pretty as a girl!”
Sachio feels a flush of shyness creep up his neck at his girlfriends comments, “..You can, if you’d like too.” He swears, as those words leave his mouth — a thousand fireworks are set off in her eyes, adding a mesmerising enhancement to her already stunning eyes. “Really?? You’d let me do that!?” He nods, jumping when she stands up abruptly and runs upstairs.
He collects her empty plate and places it in the sink, giving it a wash as he waits for her to come downstairs. As Sachio places the dish on the drying rack, Y/n brings down a small pouch. It must be the new makeup. He thinks to himself, taking a seat after turning the chair to the side to allow her to stand over him.
Y/n places the pouch on the table and unzips it, taking out the new makeup and placing it in order. “Isn’t the packaging so cute!?” She gushes, and Sachio picks one of them up - twirling it around to look at the whole thing. Flower packaging seems to becoming popular again, with Spring and Summertime. Sachio nods, “It is cute.” Y/n grins and places a blue headband that had bear ears on it — where she pulled it from, he doesn’t know — tucking the stray strands of hair inside.
“I’m gonna make you so pretty.” She squeals, getting out her pink makeup brushes he bought her for her birthday last year ; he smiles warmly to himself at the memory, remembering the look on her face when she opened his present. “Hm what’s making you smile like that, handsome?” Y/n questions, wondering why he’s got such a gentle smile on his face ; “You.”
She smiles, feeling her cheeks tingle : “Stop that.” She mumbles - fearing her heart will give out with all of this.
After Y/n finishes prepping his face so the makeup will stay on — she opens one of the eye shadows to reveal a refreshing array of colours ; “These will look so pretty on you — close your eyes for me please babes.” Sachio does as he’s told and moves his hands up to her hips, placing them there as she becomes silent ; concentrating heavily and seriously.
Sachio feels Y/n move from eye to eye over the course of.. how many minutes? He doesn’t really know, all Sachio knows is — he quite likes the feel of those soft brushes on his skin ; gently applying the colours. His fingers softly dance along the exposed skin on Y/n’s waist, causing goose bumps to appear in their path.
Sachio feels a bigger brush gently stroke upwards towards his ears, moving from the sides of his nose to his ears ; Sachio, if he remembers correctly, remembers Y/n saying this is her blending the product called ‘Blush’. He remembers her stating it has to be even — which is why she moves back and forth, before switching to going back to ensure perfection.
“I’m gonna to add.. wait, what would you like? Lipgloss, lipstick or just chapstick?” Y/n asks before giggling, “Uhm… Lipgloss?” He answers, wondering if there is a right or wrong answer. He opens his eyes to look up at her, feeling his heart beat faster at the loving look on her face ; “Lipgloss it is! Keep your lips relaxed for me love.”
Once Y/n has finished applying the lipgloss— after using her thumb to fix a small smudge by the feels of it — and places the tube down. “All done!” She holds up a mirror for him to see his reflection and he has to double take — seeing a quite feminine version of himself staring back. “Do you like it? You look so pretty!”
After a few minutes of him taking in ‘the new him’, he turns to her and smiles “You did a very good job, Angel.” Sachio chuckles, actually feeling pretty, “I feel pretty.” Y/n giggles at him, “Do you, or do you not, feel bonita?”
Sachio should’ve seen that coming, he grins, “I feel Bonita.”
“Wonderful!! Because you LOOK Bonita!” Y/n grabs her phone and, after giving him puppy eyes, begins taking pictures of her master piece. “Don’t worry pretty,” she snorts, “These pictures will come with me to my grave.”
“Good.” Sachio genuinely doesn’t know what he’d do if his friends or the rest of Housen saw those pictures — or even… Fujio. He shivers, already picturing the endless friendly torture they’d put him through.
Y/n puts her makeup back into her little pouch, the makeup brushes going in as well ; she places the pouch on top of the small hand mirror and slides them into the middle of the table, moving to sit on Sachio’s lap ; instantly, his hands find their place to her waist agin, supporting her. She wraps her arms around his neck and smiles at him, “Thank you, my love, for.. Y’know, cheering me up.”
She strokes his soft hair, loving the feel of it on her hands. “You’re my partner, Y/n, of course I would. Although.. you did worry me quite a bit, I’m just glad it wasn’t down to you being ill.” Y/n grins sheepishly, “Sorry for worrying you darling ; I.. I don’t know what that was. Just.. a bad morning, I suppose.” Sachio nods, agreeing, “Don’t apologise Angel, you didn’t mean too.”
Sachio hooks his pointer finger up her chin and puts his thumb on her chin, using them to gently direct her attention back to him ; she blushes at his sudden closeness, he leans toward her to kiss her— but Y/n’s finger comes up in between them, pausing him in his advancements — his frowns, already knowing what’s she’s going to say : “You have Lipgloss on, I don’t want it getting ruined~”
He sighs, “Please don’t leave this on me too long ; I want to kiss you.” Y/n just giggles at her lover.

It wouldn’t show up until you turned twenty — your soulmark. You wouldn’t know what it was until your birthday, mind exploring the different fonts and colors and shapes it could be. It could be a time, a date, a name, a sentence ; but you wouldn’t know until you turned twenty.
And you were already impatient for it to happen.
You were eleven when your brother brought home a new friend. Murayama Yoshiki was two years older than you, already had a band-aid on the left side of his cheek, and was hunched over when you met. His right hand was bruised and he had a permanent scowl on his face. The toys you were playing with disappeared as the two older boys stood above you.
“[Name],” your brother spoke. He pointed at the bruised boy with his thumb, puffing out his chest proudly as he continued. “This is ‘Yama. My new friend. Be a nice sibling and get us a snack, hm?”
You only blinked, “get it yourselves.”
Attention occupied by the toys in front of you once more, you missed how your brother deflated. Murayama let out a snort before it grew into loud, obnoxious giggles. He patted your brother on the back, “didn’t teach you to fight so you could be mean to a kid!” Murayama then crouched down in front of you, “whatcha playin’? Can we join?”
And so life went on with one more included in your dinner nights and play times.
Growing up with Murayama, there was never a dull moment. The boy was always cracking jokes, getting into fights, standing up for you when your brother bullied you. It was fun ; he was fun.
You stayed up all night to see what your soulmark would be. A matching tattoo would be pretty ; a timer counting down more convenient than anything. To your luck, a small 11 was printed on the inside of your left wrist. That meant you’d meet your soulmate in eleven years — easy enough. All you had to do was wait.

There’s a knock on the front door that startles you awake. Pausing, you wait to see if it was real or something you’d misheard — and then a solid bang! jolts it again. You groan, shuffling from your warm, comfy bed to swing the front door open.
Murayama stands there, sheepish and alert as he peers in behind you. Sighing, you grumble, “he’s not here. Spent the night at his ass of the week’s house.”
The curly haired boy deflates but inches by you anyways as you open the door wider and let him in. You yawn, eyes catching sight of the clock and blanch at the time. “Why’re you here anyways?”
“Fishing.” He holds two fists up, one circling around as if he’s reigning in a reel. Murayama stuffs his hands into his pockets after, rocking on his heels briefly. “He’s really not home?”
“No,” you sigh out. “The sun’s not even up yet, ‘yama. The hell’re you fishing for?”
He doesn’t answer, looking over your disheveled attire and puffy eyes. “Don’t act like you were sleeping.”
“Jus’ drifted off, actually!” You give him the stink eye before turning on your heel and heading back towards your bedroom. Murayama follows behind you slowly, as if he’s testing his limits ; as if he’d never been alone with you before. You glare again as you plop back into your blankets, “no thanks to you.”
There’s a small light that’s shining in the center of your room, illuminating the area softly. It smells like lavender — your pillows, your sheets, the laundry detergent you use. All in vain ; Murayama knows it never helped you fall asleep.
“Gonna wait for him here?” Your voice is quieter ; it matches the atmosphere you’d created. He can barely see you in the dim lights, but Murayama knows you’ve cozied back up. “You’re welcome to. I’m going back to sleep. Goodnight!”
He rocks on his feet again as you turn over harshly, your back facing him. The room settles before you huff and glare at him over your shoulder. “What do you want, delinquent?”
Scrunching his nose at the old nickname, he shrugs. “You look comfy, s’all…” Murayama tilts his head side to side — your eyes narrow even more. You know where this is going. “And it is pretty early…. ‘M a little tired still…”
You groan and turn over, burying your face into your well-worn pillow. He thinks you didn’t take the bait ; thinks you won’t give in the way you typically do. But, Murayama wins most games he plays and you’re not exempt from that. “Jus’ get in already.”
Giddily, he’s jumping in beside you before he can think. You squeal when his leg rubs yours — “no sleepin’ in my bed with your jeans on!”
He’s tossing and turning endlessly, bare legs slipping against your own as he turns to the left. With a huff, Murayama lays on his back, slamming his hands onto the blanket below him. You sigh, raising up and crossing your arms in annoyance. “Are you done now, delinquent?”
“Can’t get comfy,” he says through a pout. You roll your eyes, relaxing your arms and posture as you think about just settling down and sleeping whether he was or not. Wide, brown eyes look your way, “help me, [name].”
“And how am I supposed to do that?” You clench your teeth as he shrugs, wiggling once more.
Suddenly, your right wrist is gathered in Murayama’s grip as he slings you forward. You gulp, looking down at him now as he grins. “This could help…”
“How would me hovering over you help you sleep?” Your voice has softened ; quieted at the lack of space between you. Your fingers clench in a fist as he slightly scoots down so that your noses brush now. “Do you want me to just sleep in the air?”
You’re on your back before you can think. Murayama is caging you against your bed now, the cutely shaped light in your room illuminating from behind him like a halo. You gulp, eyes widening as he lowers his face even further, the hand that was gripping your wrist letting go.
Slowly, Murayama’s hand meets the center of your chest, palm open as he tilts his head. “Heart’s beatin’ so fast, [name],” he’s quiet as he speaks. “Am I makin’ you nervous?”
How could he not be? He’s hovering over you, wavy strands tickling your forehead as he shifts his weight ever so slightly. Your breath catches in your throat as Murayama’s eyes meet yours — he just stares.
“A little,” you squeak out. He grins at the noise ; only the right side of his lips lifting into a crooked, uneven smile. “Are you going to sleep in the air?”
Murayama lets out a loud sigh as he tilts his head, his hand creeping up to rest on your left cheek now. “I’m tryin’ to flirt with you, ya know? Why won’t you let me?”
“We—” your eyes drop to his grin before snapping them back up once more. His smile seems to widen at this, going to both sides of his mouth now. “Soulmates, delinquent. We both have someone out there, waiting for us.”
He frowns, curly hair falling into his eyes ; you resist the urge to brush it away for him. “Don’t think it could be me?”
“I’ve already met you.” Your voice is quiet again as you speak, defeated and accepting of the truth. Murayama wasn’t your soulmate, and he never would be — no matter how much both of you wanted it. “I still have a few more years to meet mine.”
As if to mock you — as if to make the truth burn more — the mark on Murayama’s wrist rubs against the one on yours. It’s warm, comforting as they touch. He sighs, leaning in to rest his forehead on yours, “wish it was different.”
“Me too,” you admit. Murayama pulls away to look at you, eyes widening at your confession. You shrug half-heartedly, as best as you could when he was still holding you down. “For a while, I guess. High school was hell for me — thought about you a lot.”
Letting out a groan, the delinquent lets his head fall to your collarbone as he huffs against it. His breath is warm and tickles where it touches — you try not to think about it. “Wish I knew. Had the biggest crush on you.”
Tugging your bottom lip beneath your teeth, you tentatively rake a hand through his hair. Murayama sags against you even more, almost falling on you. “Had?”
“Still do, I think.” Letting out another sigh, the man leaves a barely-there kiss against your neck before lifting himself above you once more. His smile is shaky ; untruthful as he looks down at you. “Let’s get some rest now, hm?”

You’re groggy as you wake up a few hours later. The blankets are still warm and slept-in ; Murayama must’ve just left. You let out a yawn, heading to the bathroom before following your growling stomach into the kitchen. Your brother is there now, deep in a conversation with his delinquent friend as you trudge your way to the refrigerator.
“Did either of you dunces make food?” Silence is the only thing that greets you. Raising your eyebrows in confusion, you turn to look at the men. Murayama’s mouth is wide open, gaping as he looks from you to your brother. The other questions his friend’s reaction, shrugging at you before leaving to shower. “Is that a no, then?”
Murayama is suddenly stomping your way, determination hitting every inch of him. Carelessly — but still gently enough to not hurt you — he pulls your left wrist to sit parallel with his own. “When we met…” he says through gritted teeth, “this could be the age we met.”
Your little 11 is side-by-side with his 13. You did meet then ; springly children who were already worrying about soulmates and new coloring books simultaneously. You gulp, your hands turning into fists as you think it over.
And, really, it’s so embarrassing how quickly you jump on him. Your clothes are still a disheveled, slept in mess ; face still puffy and voice still groggy. You know it’s not perfect — not the right, ideal time — but you leap forward and kiss Murayama anyways.
A gasp leaves his mouth as you settle against him, your tattooed wrists brushing and burning once more. You pull away briefly — only to grin at the way he chases after you — and give in immediately to kiss him again. Lightly tugging him away by his hair this time, you eye him for a minute. “This is real — we could be real?”
Murayama grins roguishly, pressing his lips to yours. He doesn’t pull away much, only enough to whisper, “think we've been real for a while.” Your grin meets his as you kiss him again.

yasushi saunters his way to both of you, a grin growing on his face when he heard you arguing with todoroki. he giggles at your insults, “as if that’s different from any other day! you’re [name]’s favorite to tease, after all.”
throwing his arm across your shoulders, yasushi pouts and coos your way as he pinches your cheeks between one hand, making your lips pucker. “and who could say no to this cutie?”
you play along, widening your eyes and batting them innocently. a new voice calls out cheerfully, fujio waving enthusiastically at all of you. he’s got a larger boy trailing behind him, ever-present scowl on his face deepening at your position.
fujio points his finger between the three of you. “and what’s going on here?”
“bullying,” your voice is garbled — muffled from yasushi’s hand still pushing your lips together. you shove his hand away and turn to fujio with a frown. “this big, dumb jerk,” todoroki raises an eyebrow, “won’t let me talk to murayama.”
“why do you need to talk to him?” fujio tilts his head. rao just continues to watch on, wondering if he should step in and protect you or not.
you look to your feet shyly. “i miss him, is all. and seki and furuya and— jus’ give me his number!” you turn to todoroki again, raising your voice.
“i’ll think about it…” todoroki leans closer to you, making a show of bending over so that he’s your height. “shortstack.”
it’s immediate — your reaction. you slam the tip of your foot at the glasses wearing boy, only missing because he blocked the move. dropping your foot, you swing it again and meet his stomach this time, hitting your target this time.
you scowl, “little bitch. call me short again.”
yasushi is cackling beside you, an arm sling across his stomach as tears gather in his eyes. rao is looking at you closer now, inching away slowly.
“you go to a weird school.” it’s murmured in fujio’s ear as todoroki straightens up with a glare.
fujio giggles with a shrug, “i know! i love it here.”
MASHII "MERCY" TAKEHIKO ♥︎ WHITE RASCALS
you’re bobbing your head to the song playing over the speakers, shimmying with the dancers who come by to say hello. rocky and koo haven’t made a reappearance yet, but you weren’t worried — they could take care of themselves and everyone else in the building.
“my love!” a voice calls out. you grin, looking up from the beer you’re pouring to see kizzy lean on the bar to see you. she pouts, “have you seen rocky or kaito? i’m bored.”
you copy her pout, sliding the beers to where they belong before leaning closer to her. “i can keep you entertained, i don’t mind.”
“ooh,” she grins at the wink you send her way. playfully swatting at you before she fans her face with her hand, kizzy coyly flirts back. “i’d want nothing more, [name]!”
kaito steps up beside her, simply raising an eyebrow at her flushed cheeks before looking at you. you only shrug, “careful, or i’ll steal your girlfriend.”
kizzy giggles as kaito swoops her away, a minuscule smile on his lips as he does so. you chuckle and clean a few glasses before an order catches your attention. as you slide the rum and coke over, a new face pops up at the bar. he’s wearing sunglasses, and has a scar on his right cheek. rocky pats the newbie on the shoulder as he passes by, nodding to you as he goes.
looking the new comer up and down, you tilt your head with a squint. walking so that you’re in front of him, you ignore the way he stiffens and speak. “are you old enough to be here?”
“are you old enough to be working here?” he replies.
you purse your lips, nodding slowly before grinning. “…touché, sir. what can i get you?”
“mercy,” he says instead — you only blink. he clears his throat, pulling a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and hitting the bottom of the carton before pulling one out. “my name is mercy. can i smoke in here?”
“it’s allowed, but i hate it.” you curl your nose up. “did you decide on a drink?”
he looks you up and down again, the movement hidden by the sunglasses he wears. a cigarette is perched between his teeth — he pulls it out and licks his lips before speaking. “what’s your name?”
you let out a sigh, but your name is called before you can reply. kizzy is back, allowing herself behind the bar as she gathers you into her arms. her nose is nuzzled into your neck as she speaks, “kaito and i are taking you home today! lucky us.”
you hum, catching kaito’s gaze over the bar. he nods, looking at mercy from the corner of his eye. “lucky you, indeed. i’ll make your favorite for dinner.”
kizzy whines, shuffling further into your neck. it makes you grin ; how comfortable they both are with you. she pulls away only slightly and glares mercy’s way. “who’s this? a new guy who doesn’t know club heaven’s dress code?”
“be nice to the poor guy,” you nudge her with a small laugh. “he probably came for a meeting with rocky.”
she only hmph’s, curling back into your neck. she and kaito stay there for the rest of the night, not allowing mercy to talk to you anymore. while it got on his nerves, you couldn’t help but laugh fondly at how protective they were over you.
YAMAGUCHI MAGOROKU ♥︎ SANNOH HOODLUM SQUAD
naomi is instructing you on how to make the perfect omurice just as the door dings open. you both straighten up, looking at each other wide-eyed before rushing to the front. naomi wipes her hands on her apron, “welcome to it— oh, it’s just you.”
snorting at the quick drop in her voice, you smile at the man who’s just stepped through the door. tsukumo nods your way, taking a seat at the bar without a word. naomi’s frown deepens, “why are you here?”
“don’t be so mean!” you chose her softly. taking her place in front of tsukumo, you grin. “hello, sir! what can i get for you?”
“don’t act so coy.” he speaks sternly, eyes on the motorcycle keys he’s holding. you tsk, pouting at his dismissal of your advances. naomi snorts, looking down so you can’t see her laughing. “do you have any onigiri made?”
naomi nods, “tuna, right? spicy?”
tsukumo hums and finally looks up to watch her disappear to the kitchen. you ignore the ding of the door and flutter your eyelashes his way. he blinks, pushing you away from him softly by poking your forehead. “you have a customer, stop flirting with me.”
“you’re a customer, too… technically.” you sigh and walk to the new comer, eyes a little dimmer but still mischievous. he’s wearing a cheetah print button up, his hair pulled back in a ponytail as he chews on a piece of gum. “welcome to itokan! what can i get for you?”
the boy looks at you, gulping lightly before glancing tsukumo’s way. “what do you serve?”
you deadpan, glancing back to the giant menu above the bar before turning back to him. you resist the urge to point at it, reminding yourself he wasn’t one of the sannoh boys, so you had to be nicer. “jus’ say what you want and i’ll let you know.”
“hm…” he makes a show of looking you up and down, grinning as he pops his gum with his teeth. you snort as he blows up the gum once more, rolling your eyes.
“me?” you say it in the same voice you’d been using to speak to tsukumo. the older man is peering back at you with naomi, watching the stranger with hawk-like eyes. you pop the bubble he’s made, “not a chance, pretty boy.”
MIYAUCHI "BINZO" KOZO ♥︎DARUMA IIKA
you regret not wearing your red jacket today. simply put, a group of teen boys spotted you and decided they needed to talk to you. for whatever reason they had, your numerous no, not interested’s didn’t deter them at all. that led to you pushing them away from you and that turned into a fight.
and there you were, slamming your fist into the apparent leader’s nose until he ended up choking on his own blood. his eyes are swollen and teary, but they still regard you with terror, “you’re a demon!”
a proud smile crawls onto your face, covering your previous rage. “yeah — that’s what they call me!”
your words make his eyes widen more before he promptly passes out. you let out a huff, sitting on your bottom and leaning against the wall behind you. they’d gotten a few swings in at first — the pain had only settled in now. you hiss at your busted knuckles, “fuckin’ brats. can’t take no for an answer. hope they learned their lesson, at least.”
“oya?” your cackling is interrupted by a curious sound. at the entrance of the alley — you couldn’t let civilians see you fight! — a boy with wild hair stands. he reminds you of murayama for some reason ; the thought makes your grin more feral. “need help?”
“yeah, actually!” you slide up the wall slowly, wincing at the ache in your ankle. they might’ve sprained it, or you did after kicking them so many times. you wave the boy over, “help me hobble home, hm?”
he comes over slowly, assessing the situation you’d found yourself in. at his lack of speed, you frown and lean further into the wall. he nods to the pile of boys, “you do that?”
you look over them emotionlessly with a shrug, “they wouldn’t listen to me.”
hands lock around your knees, the world turning upside down as he pulls you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. you squeak, hitting his back with the palms of your hands. “you’re making me nauseous, you brute!”
“oh, sorry.” you’re sat back down, hands on your knees as you heave in breaths. you glare his way, but have to hide your laugh at the clueless expression on his face. you swirl your hand in a circle, motioning for him to turn. he tilts his head at you, “hm?”
“piggy back. so much easier.” you’re lifted onto his back, arms winding around his neck and holding on gently. you hum, “much better.”
he eyes your busted knuckles, thinking back to the pile of passed out bodies he’d seen. just how strong were you? what was with the rage you held? he shakes off his thoughts and asks a different question instead. “where do i take you to?”
he can feel your grin against his neck. “you’ll know when you see a sea of red.”
maybe it would’ve been better to just leave you there, he thinks as he steps into devil’s area.
KAMUI ITO ♥︎ RUDE BOYS
“think we need these?” he’s walking down the snack aisle when your voice carries over to him. peaking over the shelves, he can see a haggle of messy, dirty children following behind you. “should get some just in case, hm? the boys need anything?”
eri puts a finger to her chin as she thinks and you grin her way. another girl is eyeing the candy bars and you try your best to keep your smile on. you only had enough money to get some essentials — no sweet treats for today, sadly. eri snaps her fingers, “band-aids!”
“getting some first aid is a good idea. thanks, sweetie.” eri grins at the praise, scooting ahead to grab some antibacterial wipes. you let the kids pick the band-aids, giggling at the thought of seeing the scary and tough rude boys wearing hello kitty bandages.
you swipe a few more things into your basket before asking for their help again. he lingers behind you, smile hidden under his mask at the way you interact with the kids. it reminds him of rao — makes him soft and gooey as you giggle along with them.
“okay, my loves,” they all stand in front of you as you call. in a single line, holding each other’s hands — a formation that was drilled into their minds the first time they left nameless city — you go over the small list you’d made with them. you nod, “think this is it. ready to head back?”
they cheer, ignoring the looks other customers give them. you, on the other hand, send a dark glare to anyone looking at the mis-matched kids in any unkind way. the bell rings as you open the door, numerous bags in your hands. eri is in the lead, one tiny hand holding onto the back of your shirt as the other is clasped with the boy behind her.
the walk back to your district will be a tedious one with your hands this full. nothing you haven’t managed before, though. the clearing of a throat hits you from behind and you turn to see a boy, a mask covering the bottom half of his face. you stiffen, walking in front of the kids with a stone face.
the boy gestures to the bags, “want help?”
want — not need. because he knew you didn’t need help, but wanted to offer his services anyways. you glance back at the kids — they nod encouragingly. “okay, sure. we’re headed to nameless city.”
that would deter him for sure. any time your district is spoken of, crinkled noses and disgusted faces are on the other end of the conversation. instead, he nods and collects a few bags from your hands. “i’ll stay in the back, then, so that the kids are protected from both sides.”
as you walk back, you call out for the kids to sound off every few minutes. just to make sure no one was lost ; to make sure everyone was still with you. he smiles at that — so wide that his eyes scrunch above his mask.
arriving back to nameless city, you see takeshi and p waiting for you. their grins turn into unfriendly frowns as they catch the boy who’d walked with you. p greets the children happily, guiding them away from the stranger as takeshi comes to help you with the bags. he nods to the boy, “who’s that?”
you meet his eyes and smile, seeing his own growing under his mask. “a friend.” you walk up to the boy, “thank you for helping us today.”
he sighs — almost dreamily, it sounds — handing you the bags he’d been carrying. “anytime. anywhere. see you soon?”
takeshi glares as he pulls you back into the city, scrunching his nose at the boy. “no. goodbye.”
your giggles ring around the city, curling against takeshi and p’s scolding. he sighs, pulling his mask down as he watches your figure become smaller and smaller as you walk deeper into the city. he’s doomed — absolutely doomed — when he gets back to the crow’s district.

I have something devastating to announce :( This morning I was writing for one of the requests and decided to have a break ; I went onto the H&L tag to read something and I found a peculiar post that’s extremely similar to my “Yakuza!Murayama!”. However, I thought it was just my head making assumptions and decided to continue reading it - as I was, I noticed more and more of a resemblance to my H&L fan fic ; so, I decided to compare them side by side and, to my shock, they were the same.
This person, whom I will reveal in a short moment, has copied my idea and the words from my fanfic - and has tried to play it off as their own. It seems they’ve copied and pasted it, and then added their own little thing. Now, in the H&L community, everyone has their own writing styles right? Yes, we feel inspired by one another, but we do not copy! I recognise my own writing style from a mile off.
And this person is @leadguitaristsodo , now, the reason why their @ doesn’t work for me anymore : is because I have blocked them to prevent them from coping anymore of my work. I spoke with my very close friend who is also a H&L writer, and have warned other H&L writers of this person. They mention in their Bio they are 14/17 however, by this behaviour, I am lead to be believe they are 14. Anyone of a mature age knows not to copy others works, as they know of the hard work that is put into it.
When I first came across their account, and saw that they weren’t as interacted with as me or the other H&L accounts are, I wanted to help them and decided to like and reblog their stuff. Put “their work” out, however, I now know that it is not their work. Some might be, but I don’t care about them. I care about the fact that they have copied my work.
If you go on the H&L tags, and switch to recent, you will see it. Please compare mine and theirs side by side, and you will see the resemblance. Now, I’m not saying you can’t do a YakuzaMurayama! Or Yakuza H&L character — no! Not at all! However, if you’re inspired please say that you are, and write your own thing! Not copy someone’s work nearly word for word!

My amazing friend Meg, who also writes for H&L, has went through the account with me and has found the resemblance to MY, fanfic. I also have proof that they have liked some of my other H&L fan fics - including my new one, Lunches with Love, which I posted yesterday.
I’m putting this out here to warn people of this person and to block them. On ALL, if my posts, I ask for you not to copy it. I love writing and love seeing people get inspired by me, however, this is not inspiration — this is fully blown copying. Which I will not stand for when it comes to my works ; which I work hard on. Stuff like this puts me off writing and, again, this is one of my nightmares which has sadly come true.
I hope this doesn’t happen again, as I genuinely nearly cried when I realised what had happened. The proof is there on what they’ve done ; if you choose to believe it or not, that’s up to you. But I know my own writing and you will too it you compare them side by side.
