In all seriousness, I did want to add on a Lil bit about John (see Rooshrambles most recent post!)

Guys!!! John's a good person!! He cares about low tiers, or wanted to care after losing his dad!!! Yk. The one person who supported and loved him unconditionally.

The low tiers students are in VERY real risk of dying to the Bureau, and no amount of training is going to avoid that!

John simply doesn't want to go through that pain again :(

I meant the low tier students are very vulnerable for the general violence that the Bureau makes/perpetuates, as well as the general violence of a society like UnO's.

Not really an ask, but I'd like to rec an amazing fanfic based on uno called My Name is Beautiful, by hsum23 (on spacebattles or royal road). I've been following it for a while, and besides the gorgeous prose, it really expands on the original webtoon's worldbuilding and characters.

So, if I am remembering correctly, Valerie is the only character that has gotten an introduction like this. Full body covering/protruding from the panel, as a larger in life figure.

Volcan was the first EMBER agent we got introduced to, and Valerie being introduced the same way, signals that hey, these two are the same person!

We're put in Remi's perspective for a bit, imo. She saw Volcan as an intimidating figure (like... Of course she did, it's EMBER) and she was taken aback by Valerie (mainly because she's tall af like Arlo lol...) but she definitely got reminded of Volcan a bit.

Idk I may be rambling since I just suffered the effects of heat. (aka I nearly passed out) and I just thought Val's introduction panel being the same as Volcan's was neat

There's been several deaths in unO, I feel like there's GOTTA be a death within the main cast. If you think differently, just take this as a fun question. I personally think Arlo is a very killable character and I'm scared for him. John would be my second answer but idk if that seems too predictable. Killing off Sera would be insane. URU-CHAN IF YOU KILL OFF REMI ILL END IT. Anyways, please share your thoughts or any other characters you think might die :D

While I do think Arlo's the likeliest character to die, Isen is definitely up there.

You know, for someone who loved being in control (of the situation, control in general) and at this moment, probably loves being in control at the moment, he is being controlled by the person that he trusts most. Someone he (wrongfully) admires.

I can't wait for the moment it all crashes on him, the moment he realizes, that he was never in control.

I had this idea for an in-universe protest poster based on the song You Can't Kill Us by Icon for Hire. I want to see a true rebellion so bad

I can't wait until EMBER is known to the whole public, and protests start. Do the authorities know that they created a martyr by killing the author of UnOrdinary? What did they think would happen when they did that? Surely they thought that his son would do something right?

What about the vigilantes that read the book? Wouldn't they be mad after learning William's story?

The parallel of Arlo saying, "It’s all up to them (John, Sera, and the trio) now," in the s2p2 recap and John saying, "He's (Arlo's) always been one of us," in 366 is just... so striking.

John sees all six as an "us" and thinks of Arlo as a necessary member. (I don’t ship Jarlo, but that line really makes me see the appeal). Right before our eyes, John went from "us" (him and potentially Sera) vs "them" (the hierarchy, represented by Arlo) to "us" (the main six, including Arlo) vs "them" (the authorities and the injustice in the world).

Arlo sees the other five as a group, one that can go on without him because, well, he was never all that close with them anyway. He didn't really have any friends throughout s2, what with Rei dead, Remi mad at him for being in the authorities, Blyke and Isen siding with Remi, John being John, and Sera wrapped up in Spectre stuff. He doesn't realize that to the rest of the main cast, he's part of the group. I think, when they come for him and he gets his memory back (in whichever order that happens) he's going to be very surprised that they even bothered.

This breaks my heart sm you have no idea. The angst potential? How Arlo doesn't really have true "friends"? (except Remi, but as you said, she was mad at him) how he probably feels isolated?

I need him to realize those are his friends, he's stuck with them now!
