it's mentioned in deep of muscle that they knew each other. to what exact extent is unknown, but.. yknow, obviously it had to be deep if exe left his children in Cheyenne's care.

it's kinda hinted at in dom; "It was important undertaking for you both to be raised in a correct manner, as his son and daughter, and that was why the responsibility fell to me as the chief to take you under my wing as my charges." Tbf this decision could've been made post-death, partially as a way to honor Executioner's legacy. but i dunno.... maybe in the time between the assault and being taken by police, exe made a deal with cheyenne to raise his children.

me personally, i headcanon they were childhood friends which carried over in adulthood. (“I know you’re a little different to your father, but sometimes . . . sometimes you say the same thing he would say at your age.") which is why Cheyenne knew about exe's goal to become a chojin, why he seems to've been so close with exe. and why exe chose him to take care of the kids.

also... idk man! i feel like their personalities match a lot. we don't really get TOO in depth of either of their personalities, but of what we do get, i think they'd be really cute together. idk how to explain fully
