Earth Hour

I read an article the other day.It was about Earhr Hour it's embarrassing but,I acutually learned that event for the first time.

Earth Hour-I quote,'a climate change awareness campaign spanning cities around the world,encouraging people to switch off all non-essential lights between 8:30 and 9:30 pm local time on the last Saturday of March'

I didn't know the great one that WWF(World Wide Fund for Nature)have been planning since 2007.It seems that the drive have started in Sydoney,Australia first.According to the description,it also said,it's now spanning more than 7.000 cities worldwide.I thought it was absolutely amazing that the action by simply dimming the lights for an hour shall avoid the emission of tons of carbon dioxide.I hope this sort of movements would increasingly spread in the future.I guess I should also work on as much as possible what I can do first.
