the fact that he despises pronouncing the word “juice”. noone knows why

whenever he’s calm enough he’ll hum the lullaby his mother sang to him

sometimes he trusts his loved ones way too much and doesn’t listen to his gut, which could be risky in some situations

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
his hair, actually. back in the day i loved this one character (braig) from kingdom hearts so much that i wanted to make an oc with similiar features, thus alan was born
3. How did you choose their name?
i chose the name alan after wondering about giving him a new name and i remembered the game title “alan wake”. i liked the name alan very much, so i chose that
9. Are they based off of you, in some way?
yes and in many ways (the fact that he’s loyal and honest to his loved ones, his quietness, his rational thinking, his big issues with betrayal of trust and love, the altruism and overprotectiveness etc.)
10, 14, 16 for alan?
10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?
with his current LI, there’s very little that can be considered compatible between them
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
one, though he’s extremely respectful and kind he does not let his real emotions show. two, he never gets too close to any source of fire because of his phobia. i have to keep repeating to myselfthose two things
16. What is something about your OC can make you cry?
anything about him makes me cry but the thing that touches me the most is his loyalty, which often makes him sacrifice everything and overcome his fears for the sake of his loved ones
