If you read Another how about headcanons for what kind of parents each of the Fruits Basket couples make towards their kids? :3

Still, I have read only the first volume of Another and I haven’t found all the other chapters yet ;u; So my reply here will focus mostly on two couples, according to what I have read -still, I’m so sorry for the late reply anonicchi ;u; !

Kyo & Toru

As I mentioned in another post, I picture Kyo as a rather protective but scared father at first. Considered his past and still the weight the of curse upon his shoulders, of having been called a monster for his whole life, he wants to protect Hajime at any cost from this secret. Hajime has always looked up at his father with true admiration, even felt proud when people begun to say he looked a lot like him -though Kyo wasn’t really happy about it. So I imagine Kyo being the very cool father, the one you look up and I think Kyo doesn’t understand how much he’s loved by his whole family (he’s an adorable dork, ‘kay?).If I remember correctly, it’s told Hajime is really attached to his mother… And I guess he’s been the type of son who cares a lot about his mother, he’s always after her and claimed to become a hero to save his mom forever and ever at the age of 5 lol. I also like to think Hajime often helps Toru cooking and they grew the habit to bake a cake or cookies every Sunday for the whole family reunion. Oh of course I picture Tohru as a very lovely mom, she’s been always a mom inside after all!

Yuki & Machi

I admit I find Mutsuki’s character rather… funny. He looks like Ayame’s son than Yuki’s and I guess Yuki himself wonder how on Earth his son has grown up like this - he puts the blame on both Ayame and Shigure tho. I think Yuki and Mutsuki have a quite challenging relationship, having both stubborn and charismatic personalities, often argue over silly things until Machi decides to stop them -even though she finds quite amusing the way Yuki loses his temper sometimes. Despite the little quarrels, Mutsuki always ask his father’s opinion first because he respects his father’s judgement and inwardly wants Yuki to be proud of him. Yuki is, of course, but rarely tells him.Machi is a very messy mom -and we know Mutsuki is the same-, but does her best to care after both her husband and son. Her relationship with Mutsuki is quite soft; when he was younger they spent their time together crafting, like bookmarks, paper temples, little animals that still now adorn their home.
