A new drawing experiment, chopstick 🥢 pen + Chinese ink
A couple of weeks ago, I did a drawing session with my friend. I usually used a pencil; which is still nice, but I wanted my lines to be more expressive. So I came up with using chopstick for drawing. Yes, a chopstick. I'm happy with the result. Perhaps I will write a blog post about the chopstick pen sometime
A double exposure snap with Leica Sofort 📸
Since last year, I got myself into dove into instant photography - Especially double exposure. It's fascinating to get an abstract image from a coincident overlay of the images. Needless to say, you can get a final result way much quicker with photography than painting. What I love about it. (Yup, I feel lazy sometimes 😛)
In the previous issue, I wrote about my experience of starting to shift my carrier to the fine art field. I learned the fact that you can't carry everything you made in the past to your next carrier. It was emotionally difficult when I got through as my thing.In this issue, I broke down what I did to get ready to shift my carrier in 3 steps.

Hi, I hope you had great days! This week, I had a deadline of a program which was about mentorship opportunity for young fine artists .I was making a document to present myself -- as a young fine artist, which is a combination of portfolio, CV, motivation letter. I stayed up until 4 am to meet the deadline .That wasn't the hardest part, but making choices was. Stripping down most of my past work and carefully handpick what I can carry on the next stage .This issue, I would like to share my takeaway
You can't bring everything with you when you move to your new home. Same for your carrier.
I wrote how I became creative in a different area by ditching the majority of my past works.
It was the 1-year anniversary of my working-travelling life four days ago. Also, I broke my record of the longest period abroad. It sounds crazy, but it came very naturally to me too. It feels like I'm on the halfway of a mountain, and I'm not exausted -- at least for now.
I discovered one thing by spending some time abroad. It's shameful to admit somehow. The more I spend outside of my country, the more I became nationalist -- I crave something from my country. For example, I ate ramen three days in a row this month, and I cooked Japanese style vegan fried rice and shared it with my veggie friends. I watch a lot of anime more than before. I even talk to cats in Japnese. And the change of my music preference is not an exception.
I listen to this playlist on repeat for a few days and still cannot stop it😂

At the moment I stay in #Berlin. But since yesterday, after spending time here a total of 5 months, I start thinking about the possibility of moving to #Leipzig. I already have several reasons to do so.
I’m in Berlin. Maybe I will move to Leipzig, maybe not.

I sometimes lose feeling of connection with nature in my daily life, because there are plenty of ready-made things and high-tech products as if they are made in an inorganic world. Yet, we are humans, one of the animal species and a part of nature.
