I genuinely need some form of media, fan made or otherwise to feature "possessive hero x villain"
I am dying to find something like this.
Childhood friends turned enemies is the best, but meeting on opposite sides always gets the job done
The villain should be the stoic type, with a tragic backtory, unable to trust anyone. They are secretly in love with the hero, but don't believe they deserve love.
I don't mean the hero is secretly a yandere or a sociopath without morales.
They should have friends, a righteous goal, family, etc...and they care for them a lot as well
No no, I want them to throw all that out the window when it comes to villain.
And they can't help themselves.
They can't trust the villain, nor can they control them. So the desperation and love slowly reach the point where seeing the wreckage and destruction the villain caused doesn't only sadden them, it brings obsession.
Instead, the pain and guilt slowly turns into pleasure.
Seeing glimpses of traces of their beloved warms their heart. They feel like a monster because of that
The want to bring the villain to justice turns into wanting the villain for themselves. To bring them home in their arms.
Because, why can't anyone else see the real person hidden behind that cold expression?
Just how adorably they blush when teased, how they have a soft spot for children or how they always aim for non-lethal organs...
Their beloved is ruining the world but ruining themselves, too.
If this goes on, if they keep hurting the hero's friends and family, things might get bad
the hero might have to kill their love, and that's not an option.
So they hatch a plan to finally grasp the moon that always slipped away at seeing the first rays of the sun.
Because the villain belongs in their lap, not bruised, covered in blood.
