I have a speedpaint of this art, guys
and this on tiktok!!
actually, the idea for this art came to me while listening to My Demons by Starset. I really associate my lovely spaceman yaoi with this song
i really don’t understand mestizos that were proudly repping their settler colonies during the world cup whining about “colonizers winning” after england beat argentina. legit every single “latin american” country is a colonizer country, id hate to break it to you.
Xōchihuah๑ A Nahua term meaning "flower-bearer" or "possessor of flowers". This is a two-spirit identity, neither fully male nor fully female, for Nahua people partaking in both male and female paths of living!
[PT: Xochihuah /end PT]
Symbolism: The flag itself is based on the Nahua flag. The yellow background is for femininity, as women would paint themselves yellow as a sign of their beauty, as would Xōchihuah. The red and orange are taken from the colors of Xōchipilli, protector of Mexicah queer folk.
I'm aware another Xōchihuah flag has been made before, but that one didn't seem to have much meaning behind the chosen colors, so I decided to make this one myself to be more meaningful and show what it actually means.
nahuatypess !
a gender for people who dont experience transness "normally" due to being nahua.
Flag ID; a 13 stripe horizontal flag. from the middle out, the stripes are a thin white stripe, a thicker dusty rose pink stripe, muted light blue, neon pink, hot pink, dark pink, and bright red with hints of pink. cred to @hinekoa for the ID
ID from under the cut
the more i look into alecto as an indigenous woman the more i see myself in her & think that her soul being put into a barbie can be read as symbolism for the deracialization native women go through when victimized by native men
I love the stone ocean trio so much🥹

these designs feature a central yellow stripe, which are representative of life, strength, connection to ones culture, and the great spirit
the turtle in the center of each flag is featured in nanticoke nation seals, as well as a frequent appearance in nanticoke art. turtles are sacred figures that represent life, creation, stability, and the earth. on the turtles back is an edited medicine wheel to each flags colors
