General premise: a ragtag group of young delinquints face enemy stand users in the hometown, slowly uncovering that there is more to the city than they realized.
Josefin Cujoh- Josefin is currently a 22 year old urbexer, but however has been a stubborn and irrational person since childhood. A stand user since birth as well, she put up a barrier against others for a long time as she was terrified of hurting them with her stand, after an incident where she accidentally killed a rabbit. She has lived with her mom for her entire life, and her stepdad joined her life when she was 5. She loves her mom, but pushes her away to protect her. However, her stepfather is a drunk who she verbally challenges, yet has never physically done anything against. Her mom has also been divorced from her birth father, whom she doesn't like either. She used to love him as a child, but as she grew up she started actually listening to what he said and uncovered his past of being a racist cult member.
Vivienne Costello- Vivienne is currently a 24 year old urbexer and graffiti artist, and has grown up to slowly become more stoic and honest. As a child she was quite shy, but overcame it in her late teens. She used to be bullied quite a lot at school for being quiet, but later resented the people that said this and became a very loud and honest person. She was expelled for "extreme bullying and assault" over punching one of her previous bullies. Despite this, her parents were understanding after their initial anger and disappointment. She lives with her parents and a 15 year old brother who is rarely in the house and usually with friends, often copying her. She loves her family and holds them close, even if she doesn't see them much because her parents work long office jobs. She was the one to most often raise her brother growing up, and while she held a slight resentment towards her parents, she forgave them despite wanting more time with them. She only got her stand, Blue Monday, recently as well, after a near death experience while urbexing.
YS- currently a 19 year old urbexer, she has had her stand from childhood and it evolved slowly. To this day, she still has the same curiosity and sense of adventure from her childhood, just now focused more into urbexing. Another trait she's always had was her stubbornness, which leads her to hold long grudges, and never truly forgive or forget. Very outspoken as well, she gets along with Vivienne quickly after meeting her because of their shared trait of not being afraid to take up space. She is a part of the Cherokee tribe, specifically the deer clan, and is very proud of her heritage, and her fourth times great grandmother who walked the trail of tears. This led her to getting her tattoos done, a spear on her cheek and a rattlesnake jaw on her shoulder, both traditional symbols of strength. She lives with her dad and her chronically ill brother, abandoned by her alcoholic mother. They live in a shack outside of Azalea City as well, and while they receive benefits, money is still tight.
Milo O Solealua- 20 year old skater, urbexer, and older brother. Definitely the chatterbox, he became friends with Vivienne at 18 after yapping her ear off at a skate park. At 19, his parents were taken away for suspicion of being illegal immigrants while he and his sister hid. He took Jeanette into a bathroom and escaped through a window, and came back to the house a week later after hopping around different homeless shelters to not get caught. Ever since, he's been pretty paranoid and has been trying to lay low as he does odd jobs to provide for himself and his sibling. Despite trying to lay low, he is a minor shoplifter to help lower costs and such. He still hasn't seen his parents, nor any other family as they don't live close.
Azalea City lore: found in the early 1700s as a port city, Azalea City is known for its Azaleas, rich history, and Bayside location. It is a rather big city with a combination of many older historic houses and new corporate buildings. Even in the duller, more corporate parts of the city, there's many local artists that paint the gray walls to be colorful, making the city known for its vibrant street art as well. While the city is big and bustling, however, stands a few small towns all surrounding it- Driftwood, Ifriqatown, and Tillmere. They are all "poor man's" towns- most houses are small, or are qualified as shacks. The crime rate in these towns however are lower than the main city. Despite the city covering up most crime and being a regular place on the outside, most locals who have lived there for long enough know of the underground circle of certain people that control most of what goes on. Population, news, black markets, all those things. They hide in plain sight, but those who have been victims or have been in the city for years know how to identify a member.
