warnings: a bit suggestive (?? is that the proper term for it?? but yeah, ig something along those lines - english isn't my first language so i apologize in advance 😭) on albert's part, but that's about it
given that it's albert of course spending valentine's with him would consist of expensive dining
he'd bring out his best wines and have you taste each one
if i have to be honest he's most likely going to host a ball for valentine's
and use that opportunity to introduce you to his brothers
that ball would honestly just consist of the moriarty household
seeing you get along fairly well with his siblings made his heart skip a beat
he was head over heels for you
whenever you'd have a conversation with louis or fred, he had the most loving gaze as he stared at you from a distance
and when you met his gaze, a red blush would appear on your cheeks
you two excused yourself to go to the balcony with glasses half-filled with wine
he'd link your free hands together and he'd open up about what your future would be with him
you've been the person he'd been waiting for his whole life
your first meeting wasn't exactly what we'd call love at first sight but you always end up seeing each other in some occasions
whether you were of noble blood or not, he couldn't care any less
he loved you the way you are and sworn his loyalty to you the moment he asked you to be his significant other
he just couldn't picture his future without you in it
you both settled your wine glasses down on the handrail as albert slid his hands around your waist
"you know what? i'm so lucky to have you, y/n. i really am." he whispers close to your ear, pulling you even closer to him as he trailed soft kisses alongside your neck
"do you want to take this someplace else? somewhere private." he'd add huskily, his lips inches away from yours
poor baby barely gets any sleep
between the classes that he teaches and his plans in taking down the corrupt nobles a short nap is all that he can manage sometimes
so it was a surprise to you that he showed up to your doorstep, with flowers and a card amongst the bouquet
"liam! but- i thought you were at home! you're supposed to be resting." "i couldn't resist wanting to see you, y/n. besides, i want to spend this day with you."
he'd give you a really affectionate smile that you couldn't help but give in
it's true that you rarely see each other but william always tries his hardest when it comes to you
you welcomed him in for some tea and (heart-shaped) cookies and after finishing them, liam invited you to go to the museum
"i know that you're into paintings and i want to have you come with me to the museum to take a look at their recent exhibits."
you beamed at liam, nodding enthusiastically as you held onto his arm as he had you escorted down the stairs into the cab and off you go to the museum
i'd like to mention that during your ride to the museum, liam fell asleep and had his head leaned against your shoulder
though liam's sleepless nights often took over his body, he'd feel his exhaustion disappear as you talked about your interpretations of the paintings and sometimes even telling him about the history behind them
any day with you is a day worth spending
he'd drop you off at your house after your date and ask you whether you enjoyed your time with him
he'd actually apologize for not having organized anything fancier than a museum date, promising he'd take you to someplace else the next time around
but you'd endlessly reassure him that you had the best time
you appreciated his initiative to take a day off just to spend time with you
that alone spoke of his love for you
"y/n?" "hmm, what is it?" "i- thank you for today." "to be honest, it should be me who's supposed to be thanking you, liam."
he brought your hand up to his lips and kissed your knuckles lightly, blinking up at you with the most endearing smile that nearly made you forget how to breathe
you knew it will be for a few days before you'll have liam all to yourself again
but for him, you'd gladly (and patiently wait)
"i love you, y/n. see you soon, my love."
valentine's day was one of the few occasions that louis looked forward to
his expression may not give off the feeling of someone who was excited but trust me he's really looking forward to it
that is, until he met you and you began dating
louis never really expected he'd fall for someone yet there you were, a breath of fresh air in his life
he officially asked you to be his significant other on valentine's day
so it also counts as your anniversary or monthsary what is the proper -sary to use i literally have no clue about romance at all i am a sherlock kinnie i apologize
you know how louis does the daily rounds in the moriarty manor?
he double checks everything on this special day because he's inviting you over and he wanted to make a good first impression
when you first stepped into the manor all you can say is WOW because let's face it it was spotless and spacious
he had you tour around the manor and had you familiarize the rooms
you even had the chance to be acquainted with his older brothers
the real surprise waited for you in the garden where there was a table set for two
there was a variety of unique and rare flowers that surrounded you THANK YOU FRED PORLOCK FOR THE ASSISTANCE IN SETTING THE MOOD
"happy valentine's day, y/n. and happy anniversary."
slowly he'd lean in for a peck on your lips HE BECAME QUITE BASHFUL RIGHT AFTER
"oh, baby. this is perfect. i love you."
you wrap your arms around his shoulders, to which he reciprocated your gesture by wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on top of your head
a hidden phonograph suddenly played a slow yet romantic melody THANK YOU HERDER FOR THE WONDERFUL TIMING
it's as if time stopped and all that mattered in that moment was you and him, in each other's embrace
NOTE: here's part two of spending valentine's day with the moriarty the patriot characters! my second semester starts tomorrow but i hope that i'd be able to do the rest of the characters. if time constraints won't allow it, i'll simply make a separate and different scenario that features them. ♥️
