Hi, I really want to draw fan art for your FNAF AU, but I'm not any good at drawing robots. Do you have any tips?

Geometric shapes are always good to know when drawing robots. most parts are a mix of different basix shapes, or straight up just a cylinder or a ball. i tried colouring them accordingly

With robots, and animatronics, you gotta see each part as rigit, and the moving space in between, ankles, wrists, shoulders, that kinda stuff, seperates each rigit part.

FNAF animatronics usually just have ball joints everywhere, robots might have a couple of joint types.

ALSO! Get a ton of reference pictures, best of 3D models. make your memory cards suffer!

Ended up making the Submas as horses since not only were the first trains pulled by horses, but trains were often referred to as the "Iron Horse" early on. The Submas match many of the animal crossing villager species, but I just did this one. Maybe I'll do some others, but this was a good learning practice for me either way. Enjoy.

Ingo and Emmet are the subway bosses in the battle subway in Unova and are twin brothers and Emmet is the blunt one while Ingo is the nice one but Ingo got yeeted to the past but hopefully he’s alive

idk about them but Emmet as a name reminds me of emmet from legally blonde and ingo reminds me of any ore ingot from minecraft...idk the image is really funny in my head
