hello anon i appeciate your interest... "Speak" is quite a vague request and i have like a trillion things to say about these two (those things can be separate posts Don't Worry! It's Ok) but i'd rather not overwhelm you with a 10000000000 word lecture. So this shall be an "introductory" post of some sort where i'll list a few appealing/interesting things about this duo that Could Theoretically convince someone to think about them for more than 5 seconds and go "waaait there's something interesting in here" instead of "Huh? ok"

i will instantly warn that basically everything about yznr is Unrealized Potential and overall speculation based on their personalities and how they interacted with each other the few times it actually happened in canon and etc etc. and headcanons Obviously. welcome to my sick and twisted mind. anyway actual list under the cut

CONTRASTS mentioning this as the first thing because it seems like the most obvious. at least to me. dark/light, soft/sharp, strict/laid-back, reserved/expressive... there's quite a few just on the surface, both character design-wise and personality-wise. and digging a bit deeper into them and thinking about how things theoretically would progress could very well swap some of these contrasts around or turn them into similarities instead. it's Pretty Awesome. i could always elaborate on most of these i just don't want to make this post too long. oh also speaking of

SIMILARITIES both take the role of a reliable senior/caretaker, both are competitive is some way (read sportsfes 3 it has yznr in it)...... both are actually weirdos beneath their demeanor & obsessive freaks LOL. there's a few more smaller similarities i just mentioned the more "obvious" ones because, again 1. don't want the post to be too long 2. i'm forcing everyone who reads this to think about it themselves (<- half-joking)

the UNREALIZED POTENTIAL i talked about earlier i sincerely think these two characters with little to no canon interactions are very compatable and could have an interesting dynamic and could even learn a few things from each other. Please understand. Please think about it. arashi canonically Kind Of kickstarted yuzuru's character development because she forced him to have fun and be normal in school trip. imagine how much more would've happened if they spent more time with each other. she can and wants to help him get out of his shell....... they could've formed a bond......... yuzuru could've experienced someone taking interest in him and caring about him as a person and not a servant.......... arashi could've experienced someone learning to love themselves because of her & being grateful and loving her in return................. and(gets taken off stage by a giant hook)

hello casual liker of yuzunaru... i'm competitive liker of yuzunaru. just kidding. anyway

1. choosing just One is kind of cruel and unusual and also impossible i'm afraid. multiple aspects of yznr are enjoyable and crucial to me & i think about them often and from different angles and perspectives and etc. So my fav thing about yuzunaru is the yuzunaru. that being said the so called yznr introductory post is kind of a Highlist List of most things i deem interesting.......

2. it can honestly be whatever as long as it's relaxing and/or having fun and playing. #hangingout. sitting outside drinking tea or walking around chatting or doing a picnic where they bring each other their favorite food. things of that sort. it's cuteclues. another thing i'll mention is at the very start of their relationship most of the Ideas for Hanging Out were arashi's doing and yuzuru was just happy to come along and be there and follow her around and carry her shopping bags for her but naru quickly remembered that she has to remind him that he has free will and force him to come up with stuff/decide what they should do for the day. & it worked. cute picnics was his idea. all is well.

ALSO also !! !! I can totally see Arashi giving Yuzuru like a scented candle for his birthday or something once and now Yuzuru wants that candle for every birthday/special occasion because he associates the scent with Arashi

i can see it........... kind of briefly mentioned scented things in the previous post but scents are kind of apparent in yznr. arashi with perfumes and iirc yuzuru has a line where he talks about having a strong sense of smell. so naturally they'd pay attention to such things........... sort of related headcanon i think yuzuru smells like fresh laundry so every time arashi passes the cleaning products aisle in grocery stores she starts thinking about him

They Do... i think they always make sure to gift something to each other on special occasions like celebrations and such but i wouldn't put it past them to randomly grab something because they thought the other would like it or it just reminded of them...... arashi definitely does that more often because of her awesome shopping hobby

though also i like to think that giving gifts to yuzuru early on was a bit troublesome for arashi because she was dealing with Guy Who Is Too Humble & Thinks He Doesn't Deserve All That. it took some time for him to start being a bit more normal about it which also helped arashi figure out what he actually for real likes from his reactions (<- that she tends to pay a lot of attention to!). yuzuru naturally had a much easier time figuring out what to give her both from absorbing information about her via spending time together and also from just straight up asking. as for the Gifts Themselves: 💄->🏹 - i think she keeps in mind that yuzuru tends to enjoy more "practical" items so he would definitely get handy stuff that would help him with cleaning/cooking/gardening/other classic yuzuru activities. though for every gift that helps with work there has to be a gift just for fun (plushies and such. both of them like small and cute things) or one that helps to relax/take care of himself ☝️ she's very determined when it comes to making him unwind. naru would definitely give him beauty products and stuff for skincare... yuzuru is pretty attentive when it comes to his own appearance Of Course but she's a bit more serious about all that stuff. also perfumes and soap and various nice smelling things. arashi had a whole story about her own brand of soap right? it would be cute if she got to make a custom one just for yuzuru... (note after finishing writing the yzr section: she would get him shoes also due to him liking those & it would be cutesy if she bought him clothes in general. i think she should dress him up) 🏹->💄 - jewelry and various accessories is something that arashi enjoys so he tends to get her that if there's nothing else avaliable. but if it's appropriate he likes buying her new shoes. does anyone else remember that yuzuru has shoes in his likes. i do. i think he'd try to find ones that would compliment her usual outfits... i do think that his enjoyment of "practical" things is also relevant in his own gifts so naru gets some handy stuff for work/hobbies as well. also Does food count as a gift? i think he'd enjoy making her favorite meals and drinks and making her cute bentos. hashtag niki's kitchen experience. also a theoretically possible gift is a drawing of her... but i feel like he would think that his current art skills don't do her justice lol
