i finished reading heated rivalry last night and i feel like I'm losing my mind. what do you mean jacob tierney picked up this book and decided to make it his one (1) mission to use all his banked goodwill from letterkenny and shoresy to make possibly the most faithful page to screen adaptation out there? whole pages of dialogue just lifted verbatim? scenes choreographed to match the on page action exactly? when does this ever happen? and any changes that are made only added to the story: expanding svetlana's role and the roles of shane's parents, giving us more in russia, swapping certain lines or actions to better fit where the characters are in their journey. this show feels like it shouldn't exist.

i've said it before but everyone in the production took the show as seriously as a fucking heart attack and i thank them for it.

Soo.. I was so excited to post this that I posted an image that wasn't ready to post, and now I can't do a switch-out without deleting the whole thing.

The correct image is below. Once I work out how to delete the top image, it will be gone.

(For those playing spot the difference, half of the "8" on the right-hand side was in a hidden layer when I was drawing the overline, and I forgot to bring it back to the front before I exported it and uploaded it to tumblr. I made a mistake. I'm only human. There are also about 700 layers in the raw version of this)

*What is a simple sketch? In this case, no color, no background, you can give specifications on pose & stuff but it won't be a back & forth process like a regular commission; you'll just tell me any details you want to tell me, send me some refs, and I'll send you the final drawing
