I’m not going to lie, every time one of you mentions the cinderella au making you cry, after I get done being OVER THE MOON, I just sit here………..really hoping you mean, like. Wen Qing snorts. “It’s impressive,” she agrees, peering out the blacked out windows of their van at the massive mob gathered around their hotel. Security is still corralling the crowd, and they’ve been told in no uncertain terms that they’re not allowed to take one step out until the situation gets slightly more contained. Considering it’s almost midnight in this time zone and three in the morning in the one they just flew in from, this is not convenient. All five of them are starting to get on each other’s last nerve, and Wen Qing rolls her neck in the way that means she has a headache as she continues, “I can’t believe all this is because he hugged me.”
“Well, maybe if you’d hugged me back instead of trying to push me away,” Wei Wuxian says from the other side of the van, his eyes closed and his head tilted back to rest on the window, “they wouldn’t have decided I was sexually assaulting you and trying to steal you from my brother.”
